Nice, but $10? I rather keep playing Belzebub.

Fallout was also $10, but I guess the point of them being easily accessible now is to be picked up while on sale.

Not that I'll pay any of these fuckers $10 when they haven't shown any signs of actually deserving it, but I'll grab it on sale and pay only that amount as an appreciation for giving me access to DRM-free version of these games.

Rune: Classic is currently on a heavy special. Would recommend multiplayer, and apparently it can be played in coop with mods.

New VtM related? Blood Omen from Silicon Knights?

To try to shed some light on this: An unnamed vampire-themed game is about to arrive on GOG, and to celebrate its release they're doing a themed presentation (read: not a sale) on vampire-based games.

Since it's unlikely they'll go through all of this for a retro vampire title (of which I can think of a few, most notably Veil of Darkness) I'm guessing it's something more modern, possibly even a new entry in the VtM series.

DOSBOX GAMES NOW WITH CLOUD SAVES

We used this year’s spring cleaning to dust off some of the great DOS classics.

Thanks to the partnership and long-time cooperation with the DOSBox Crew, together we’ve managed to enhance with cloud saves feature over 100 classics, with more to come.

Since the introduction of the Universal Cloud Saves to GOG Galaxy, the feature has been added to more and more all-time classics that never offered save syncing and cloud backups. Working closely with DOSBox Crew and adding cloud saves to older games is another step that we take to improve gamers experience with good old games.

Many of these cloud saves enabled DOS classics joined the Spring Sale line up offering savings for such must-haves like Colonization (-75%), Dungeon Keeper Gold (-75%), Heroes of Might and Magic (-75%), Alone in the Dark: The Trilogy 1+2+3 (-75%), Wing Commander III (-75%), classic X-COMs (-75%), and many more.

In preparation of the sale I wanted to clean up and neat down my library so I shot an email to the GOG support to remove a few games that I either got for free and will never play or various duplicates (I don't need vanilla TW3 or W2 if I have the GOTY editions for example).

This is what they replied:

Hello,

Unfortunately there is no "clean" way for us to permanently remove games from users' accounts. We would prefer not to use workarounds, therefore please use the "HIDE" option in order to make games disappear from your list. I appreciate your understanding.

What the actual fuck? What kind of mickey mouse digital store are they running if they can't remove items from my library without "workarounds"?

I use the Hide function for all the games I also own on Steam and it works pretty well. The games really are hidden, if you do a search in your library they don't show up.

GOG switched me back over to Euros even though I had it set to US Dollars - seems they reset the settings every time there's a big sale.

At least they didn't use the opportunity to sneak in a price hike.

Nothing interesting on sale for me this time round - but that's par for the course now.
