Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I've never had a proper computer that can run games, until now. That means I've missed out on almost every single game that has been released since like 2008. I'm looking for RPG suggestions that have been newly released. Some of the titles that top my list are...

ELEX
The Witcher 3
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Pathfinder: Kingmaker
PoE (lol)

...and so on, y'all get the idea. Thanks in advance.

Why would you buy a high end computer to play RPG games exclusively?

Fuck RPG games. You buy high end computer to play strategy games on max. Bust out the Medieval II: Total War, Crusader Kings: 2, and Age of Empires: III and put that shit on max settings.

All game suggestions are welcome.

I highly recommend you to play the recently released, Devil May Cry 5. One of the best action games I played in my short life.

Here's a good list of the best games released in the last 10 years that are available for PC:

  1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  2. Demon's Souls
  3. Dark Souls
  4. Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin
  5. Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen
  6. NIOH
  7. nu-Hitman 1/2
  8. Hollow Knight
  9. Megaman 11
  10. Alien Isolation
  11. Rainbow 6 Siege (if you have friend to play with)
  12. Divinity Original Sin EE
  13. Divinity Original Sin 2
  14. ATOM
  15. Battle Brothers
  16. Super Mario Odissey
  17. Sonic Mania
  18. Metal Gear Solid V - Ground Zeros / The Phantom Pain + Hardcore mod
  19. Battlefield 4 (if you like big scale multiplayer shooters)
  20. Devil May Cry HD Collection
  21. Crysis 2
  22. nu-DOOM
  23. Bayonetta
  24. Portal 2
  25. For Honor
  26. Left 4 Dead 2
  27. Rocket League (if you have friends to play with)
  28. Worms WMD
  29. Enderal + Wild Cat combat mod
  30. Nehrim
  31. Super Smash Bros Ultimate
  32. Deus Ex Mankind Divided (the gameplay and the side quests are good, but the main quest is boring and very linear)
  33. Metal Gear Rising
  34. Monster Hunter World
  35. Resident Evil 7
  36. Resident Evil 2 Remake
  37. Resident Evil Remake (not released in the last 10 years, but it got a PC re-release)
  38. Grimoire :obviously:
  39. Cuphead
  40. DUSK
  41. Ion Maiden
  42. Warhammer Vermintide 2 (if you have friends to play with)
  43. Subnautica
  44. Dargon Ball FighterZ
  45. Rising Storm 2
  46. FEZ (dude might be a bitch, but the game is alright)
  47. Max Payne 3
  48. Red Dead Redemption
  49. Mirror's Edge
  50. NieR Automata
  51. Super Meat Boy
  52. Shovel Knight
  53. Factorio
  54. EYE Divine Cybermancy
  55. FURI
  56. Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon
  57. Project Warlock
  58. Shadow Warrior 2
  59. STALKER Call of Pripyat

A good performance test for your new machine, is to see if you can run Crysis 1 (plus it's a good game).
Sekiro released today, but it does look pretty go so far.
Don't play PoE.

Evil Within 1. Not played 2 yet, but I'd like to at some point.

The new Metro looks badass too. I'd probably like to get the series when it goes on sale again. I didn't know the actual writer has some involvement. Those books are fucking amazing.

You can try Doom 3 with Absolute HD mod. Try enabling soft shadows.
Also try enabling soft shadows and aa in Fear, at the same time.
Also in Riddick Dark Athena try enabling ssao, aa and soft shadows at the same time.

Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance. Granted, it was always pretty well-optimized, but on a modern computer runs markedly better. You should still expect it to start slowing down in longer campaign missions, though.

Huh, I actually bought the entire STALKER series on Steam. I played Shadow of Chernobyl with some mods. I think mainly the patches and graphics ones. I always try to keep it vanilla. I got really far, but I was ridiculously bored with it. I ended up quitting.

Fetch quests, boring NPCs, same fucking side-quests over-and-over. It feels like if you're playing Skyrim but removing everything except the radiant quests. Anyways, that thread linked and the comments make me want to play Call of Pripyat. Might try it.

You aproached it somewhat wrong. Quests, NPCs..? The Zone isnt Tamriel or some Rpglandia. Its 21st century 60km wide iradiated and sealed off area populated by mutated wildlife and deadly anomalies of all kinds, with various shady military types roaming around... And you want quests? Just wandering and surviving this kind of place is experience enough.

Grab the Codex by the pussy
Try rendering amateur 3d furry porn videos instead. That's how you know your pc is high spec.

Why furry? Because furry character has more hair. More hair => more difficult to render. Basic logic.

The game actually has a stable 60 fps with amazing graphics and animations, we just haven't created a computer powerful enough to run it at it's true potential.
