So, Schaffer is the composer, non-voiced protagonist and confirmation that its a full-on RPG.
I am actually starting to feel ze hype
Epic Store exclusive and Paradox DLC schemes are making me wary. Maybe, by the time it releases on Steam, all DLC will have been released.

This was just tweeted recently, and they've firmly said as much before. That's not to say it's impossible for some Epic Games' fuckery, but I think not likely. Their fans would likely perform final death on them too.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
To be completely honest... The first game is one of my all time favorites, despite how broken it was. I don’t dare to get too hyped up. At best, it will be a decent game by modern standards. Unfortunately, that’s usually the best one can hope for.

Given that these guys live in Seattle and Brian Mitsoda is a cynical motherfucker, the Champaign socialists and Amazon liberals will be mocked mercilessly.
Mitsoda himself is married with a "obnoxious liberal".

You think he’s never rolled his eyes at his own wife? That flies in the face of everything we know about marriage. Brian Mitsoda is not some humorless scold.

You are charged with making me too hopeful for this game at the expense of my better judgment, we don't do that here.

Bloodlines is a good game because it is a good game. That it involves vampires/World of Darkness setting is kind of immaterial. What makes Bloodlines good is the writing, world design, level design, choice and consequence, and depth that make your experience different depending on the clan you select. The game could be about almost anything (obviously with changes in the script and actors and such) and still be good because of its core design.

VtM:B has terrific writing, atmosphere, and worldbuilding. The rest ranges from acceptable (character mechanics) to borderline terrible (moment to moment gameplay).

I find it puzzling that you mention level design and C&C. The hubs are nice enough (and very immersive, with believable locations) but the combat areas are basically corridors, a few exceptions aside. They get downright bad after Hollywood, everybody hates the sewers. As to C&C there really is none, it’s completely on rails up to the point where you get to pick your ending.

A lot of television shows are worked on by teams of writers. It's also fairly common for movie scripts to go through multiple (often uncredited) revisions by other writers. :M
I've never seen a single episode worked on by a lot of writers. They have a lot of writers for different episodes, but very rarely do multiple work on the same one.

Coming up with jokes for sit-coms is usually a group endeavour.

Here's a challenge from me to you all:

Name a good vampire game that isn't Bloodlines 1 or Blood Omen.
