There is almost definitely a better way of putting this but bear with me.

We know what something is because we know what something isn't and therefore what nothing is, and the nothing in itself is a something because it is an absence we thus use to measure presence. The example given compares this to arithmetic, where zero has no value yet zero is also necessary to the system of arithmetic because the value of all other numbers exists in relation to it. Following this line of thought, one could say that meaning is intrinsic to and found within the world as otherwise we wouldn't even be able to for example, distinguish between nothing and something and zero and one - in other words, meaning reveals itself in perception of the world as measure (as opposed to a quasi-nihilist model of the universe where all is equally meaningless and utterly without structure). Or you could say that this is merely a heuristic necessary for our current human experience, like a foundation of meatbag logic or w/e that could be completely warped or disregarded by a radically different mind but let's ignore this idea for now

2C. Rip and Tear!

I'm not good at the math thing but they only have a 10% chance each of hurting us and while there are 12 of them there is a good chance we will be deleting 1-2 of them each turn. Now we've seen some crazy shit down in them catacombs so I say we keep the retardo gas for foes more deserving of its vaporous wonder.
