I need to buy AoE2HD, I haven't played the game in far too long. Always sucked ass at RTS because I treated it as a city builder and took it easy and then got my ass kicked later on because the AI was building a massive army all the while, but I always liked AoE2. I remember how another village stole one of my sheep during dark ages once and I just spammed villagers and destroyed their city centre for that. Funny post tho.

A majority of the community plays on Voobly instead of using HD because better netcode and server browser. There's usually at least a thousand people active at any time, making it one of the most active multiplayer RTS games at the moment. It's also probably one of the only RTS games right now experiencing growth in playerbase instead of shrinking.

I watched T90 VODs on Youtube every so often, entertaining stuff. Not too interested in multiplayer though, it's like fighting games, there's a trillion people who are better than me and getting good enough would take years.

Ninja literally made gaming mainstream. Before him people looked down on gaming like it was only for nerds or whatever. He made it okay for everyone to play video games without beings called a virgin or nerd.

Well, if that's true, fuck him, he ruined gaming.

Well, Time's not wrong tho, like it or not. Having your game played and streamend by Ninja in 2019 is better marketing than having 100 stellar reviews in 100 renowned outlets.
Guy on twitter is a retard though.
