Screw this. Since the original poll doesn't allow for negative votes, let's have a little underground one specially for downvoting. The rules are basically the same - you have 10 points to distribute between any number of games that you think have no business of being in the top. In other words, not the worst RPGs ever (where's fun in that), but RPGs you fear may end up in the official top undeservingly. The less deserving a game, the more points it gets (5 max).

Why only 10 and not 25? Well, first, I don't think the lists of undeserving games will be as long as the deserving ones. But also because I'm a lazy ass and don't want to do too much work putting all that shit into Excel.

Let's roll!

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I approve of this thinly disguised anti-Witcher 3 agenda thread. :obviously:

5 points:
The Witcher 3
It's not a good RPG, nor a good game. The writing is great only in moments, while the vast majority of it is by-the-numbers padded out cinematic drivel fit for the nu-Bioware crowd. It has no place in the top 50, let alone the top 10, where it looks like it might end up.

2 points:
Star Control 2
Great game. Absolutely not an RPG in any sense. I usually answer the Codex's favourite question with a hearty "who cares?", but the line has to be drawn somewhere and SC2 is well beyond that line.

Divinity Original Sin 2
Absolute decline from the first in every possible way. A few hours of fun at first, then an endless unfinishable slog.

1 point:
Albion
Joke option as I don't expect this to come anywhere near the top of the ranking, if it even makes it in at all. My first RPG, and coming back to it after many years was a huge downer. Clunky, slow and unengaging with terrible combat. Poor bridge between storyfaggotry and blobber.

Fallout New Vegas

Ok if people are going to downvote New Vegas I might as well get involved in this.

5 - Wizardry 8
5 - Arcanum

There. I might spread some of the points around depending what else gets downvoted.

it would be clearer to actually display it with minus points like -5, -3 etc.

Neither of these games have a place in an RPG poll and yet people are still voting for them.

ALL THE FUCKING POINTS
Neverwinter Nights
Is anyone even voting for it? It's a waste of your points.

Nobody's stopping you.

But then it's not consistent. And since we have 2 similar threads people may interprete numbers without prefix as positive points even though in this thread it's the opposite.
But people that make that kind of mistake would probably vote for stuff like Skyrim or Witcher 3 as best game anyways, so it's fine I guess.
