Many senior Piranha Bytes Red employees split from the company last year. Several formed a new studio, Giant Gun Games, and are developing a roguelite FPS.

The game is literally all blue and orange. Except when the screen is covered with shit, which is half the time. Looks really boring too.

That looks so much fun to explore...

It's like Doom never happened and Wolf3D's level design is still the example to follow. Not that Wolf3D looked as bland and boring as this, far from it actually.

Found some new information. Update:

- The storepage images are from a very early prototype build
- The levels are no longer randomly generated
- They plan is to release it into early access once they improve the graphics
- It will feature Twitch integration allowing viewers to affect the gameplay
- They're open to an Epic store exclusivity agreement

rougelike FPS is one of the shittiest sub genre for FPS behind corridor shooter. i played this apparently critically claimed game called ziggurat and it is fucking boring. the core gameplay itself is good, but all the levels are randomized shit, roulette arrays of the same enemies and level combination. there is no sense of place, no sense of thoughtful encounters, just random shit, you die, then play trough the samey random shit again.
