This is kind of silly since some games here have been played by like 90% of the codex while others by the 20%. If pathfinder had been played for as many people as BG2, how do you guys think the poll it would end between those 2?
Im just curious, but also lazy enough to assign my points.

Disclaimer: I DID NOT play pathfinder: kingmaker, and i love BG2, i just picked those 2 because of obvious reasons.

I really wanted to include Diablo I over ULTIMA [redacted] Underworld or Eyes of the Beholder, seeing how I played much more the former than the latter, but I think UUI is a better RPG and that's what the poll is about.

Codex 2014 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy
Request: Any chance someone can compile the points being given out based on join dates of users? We're getting a lot of newfags fresh meat! new users and lurkers delurking because of this "poll".

It was really hard to take it down to 25.
First group are the easy picks. Second are games I fondly remember, but haven't played in the last two decades.
Third are games I might change my mind on 5 years from now. Dead in Vinland is very close to be an excellent game, but the writing isn't good enough.

Also thanks Felipepepe for doing this. It must suck going over 25 different entries, adding one point each.

Fallout is the best cRPG ever made and Gothic is, from the ones I've played, the best action RPG that still has the other qualities we love about traditional RPGs (as opposed to Dark Souls), like proper quests, dialogue and factions.

Deus Ex is a fantastic game I've played for the first time in 2018. Fallout: New Vegas, as a PC game, has EXTENSIVE mod support to make it, quite simply, my favorite game ever made. And The Witcher is easily one of the most enjoyable action RPGs I've played.

Arcanum is great and deserves to be mentioned. I thought it was more enjoyable than Fallout 2, but like FO2 it also made me rage quite a bit.

read thread title, post again to discuss thread
I think you guys didn't understand what i meant. Im not interested in discussing BG2 vs P:kingmaker, im just trying to discuss if the poll has any sense. Old games played by most of the forum will always have more votes than the new ones.
But w/e.
