Since the 'honk honk' button was introduced by executive fiat, we the RPG Codex people have had two readily available instances of green buttoneering, namely the traditional modality and the honk button. Cheers, of course, is not available to all, and so any market driven catastrophe has been averted. But how long until everyone has to sell their stocks and buy hard goldfists in order to keep a semblance of ownership intact?

I still see no meaning in the parrot emoticon. Much like the Rorschach test, where you're supposed to apply meaning to a meaningless ink blot, I can't see a meaning beyond it being a parrot. I've always liked its aesthetics though.

The Honkler on the other hand has a clear meaning - we're living in a Clown World. It combines the likes of The Face That Never Remembered, WTF am I reading and Funny into a single button.

Until the next inevitable purge of the button parade, the Honk must stay.

Parrots are for PIRATE ships. Pirates didn't actually keep slaves much, if pirates jacked a slave ship, they typically just let the slaves become pirates instead. Pirates were early abolitionists in that way.
