Is honk devaluing the parrot?

This a public consultation with all RPG Codex stock market experts on this issue. Since the 'honk honk' button was introduced by executive fiat, we the RPG Codex people have had two readily available instances of green buttoneering, namely the traditional :M modality and the honk button. Cheers, of course, is not available to all, and so any market driven catastrophe has been averted. But how long until everyone has to sell their stocks and buy hard goldfists in order to keep a semblance of ownership intact?

Secret societies, virtual currencies available only to a select few; Now the power elite rebel against the noble ruler providing the unwashed masses a trustworthy product capable of valued exchange?

The parrot is a creature both majestic and versatile.

Should have listened to me and converted your entire portfolios to BitFists and HonkCoins.

The petroparrot was doomed a long time ago.

Competition is good for the market, parrot has held the monopoly for far too long.

Some posts will now be honk exclusive to promote people switching to using it.

'Honk' clearly means clown world, so those who bestow it for other reasons are using it incorrectly. The parrot has no political connotations and generally means something silly rather than malign.

'When words are not enough' was what I always saw as devaluing the parrot. Along with 'participation award'.

The parrot was the go to when you needed to express a 'cool story bro' kind of retort but the post didn't merit more time wasted on it that with the parrot.....

The parrot is a symbol of white supremacy, because FUCKING EVERYTHING is these days.

It's a symbol of ZIONIST supremacy since the beak is hooked.

I still see no meaning in the parrot emoticon. Much like the Rorschach test, where you're supposed to apply meaning to a meaningless ink blot, I can't see a meaning beyond it being a parrot. I've always liked its aesthetics though. :M

The Honkler on the other hand has a clear meaning - we're living in a Clown World. It combines the likes of The Face That Never Remembered, WTF am I reading and Funny into a single button.

Until the next inevitable purge of the button parade, the Honk must stay.
