About Troll Trouble ending,

Was it possible to get Tartuk to join you? I just had a conversation with him and could tell him to go away but he probably has loot, so I ended up killing him, I am kinda wondering if its possible to recruit him since when I went outside I saw the little guys being terrified and felt a little sorry. If I could, is there a benefit? like would they provide me stats or something for my kingdom?

Another question Harrim broke the anvil, if he didn't break it, was there a benefit to it? is it alright if I finish this quest without Harrim and him not leave or something?

I am not seeing any companions loyalty or something similar to that so I am not entirely sure, do companions have hidden stats of how approving they are of you or is it just specific times only where if you go against their nature and they leave.

Edit:
Also when is a good time to do the Tiefling's quest? I saw a post saying its pretty hard but didn't want to read too much and spoil myself so I am kinda wondering if I manged to do Troll Trouble, does that mean I can do her quest with no problems or is it much harder.

Edit:
Nvm, just did the tiefling's quest and it was pretty easy.

There's a modder on the nexus named Quality of Life that has included crafting feats and a number of other great mods. Just loaded it, and all the crafting seems to be there - problem is it takes 375 days to craft a suit of full plate armor while adventuring and 63 days while dawdling somewhere safe. Is this the official ruleset? 'Cause I was just thinking about waiting until I get the kingdom management and then crafting, but knowing Owlcat
and the magical equivalent of a nuclear bomb will go off and destroy my entire kingdom while I'm sitting around crafting
This is why your royal crafters bring you one magical item every 2 months :)

There is nothing cool or interesting about an auto-attack bot with one special ability button.
Well not in terms of a game like PF:K. In a game like dark souls a sword master can and I guess is interesting for a lot of people.
This would be comparing apples and oranges in terms of game system and mechanics.
I don't know about other people but in DS once my character finds a weapon like Black Knight sword I pretty much stay with that weapon for the duration.
The interest or captivation doesn't lie in the sword swing moveset obviously as there are only 2 or 3 separate moves possible with any particular weapon.
More like the fusion of the chosen weapon with combat's "dance" or roll/block/backstep/sprint/dodge/swing mechanics.
I can't really see doing a run of PF:K with, say, a solo sword saint or tower shield specialist fighter. I guess someone could, theoretically.

There is a reason why certain types of characters are cool and often appear in movies/books/video games. The Wild West gunfighter, the solitary Samurai, the stealthy Ninja, the battle hardened knight. They embody a certain cohesive and thematically pleasing collection of traits and characteristics that go together well.
That pretty much would be DS or Fallout or Deus Ex type single character games. Which is cool, I like those games, others like those games, and the reason Porky is going on about is one of the cool aspects. Those games are meant to be played with a single character. Not a 4, 5, or 6 man team which the mechanics of a game like PF:K are centered around.

We're talking about a BG2 kensai here. There is no dancing, only cosmetic attacks.
Sorry, didn't get the reference.

Is this a good guide for an optimal city layout or is there a better guide somewhere?
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1580642020

Been following that guide and I am not seeing a lot of payoff so far and I would rather build everything to suit their end state from the start now that I know how expensive BP really is instead of having to spend more to rebuild things.

Also I am not seeing a bulletin board anywhere and the guy keeps spamming it almost in every city.

Depends on the item value. By tabletop rules, you basically make a craft check once per week and multiply the result by the craft DC if you succeed. You do that until you've "paid" off the item's value converted to silver.

Full plate armour is 1500 gold value, so depending on your craft skill would probably take a couple of months. 63 days is about right.

So dont play as wired multiclasses, use normal classes. Whats the problem?? Game is perfectly beatable on standard difficulty without using just good old Paladin/warrior, assassin/alchemist classes. I honestly cant understand what are you complaining about.

It might be easier for you to understand if you read the entire argument since the beginning.

Your problem seems to be with the general dullness of melee fighting in D&D games. Kensai in BG2 is no more boring than 2-handed fighter or Aldori Duelist in Kangmaker. Doesn't mean that I want to play a sword saint who is actually a spellcaster.

1) Shops never reset. Some consumables like rations are replenished but they keep trash you sold them until the end.
2) You can't grind exp in P:K, there is no respawn on locations and amount of exp on random encounters while traveling is close to neglectable on high levels. Also it takes time and time is extremely limited resource in Kingmaker.

Only way to get ahead of curve is to run small parties, switch off skill exp sharing to hoard it on chosen characters (I do it when my main is wiz/sorc for Persuasion + Trickery) or clean higher level locations that is available in second chapter. Kamelands or Dire Narlmarches regions has higher level content and you can get get extra couple of levels there starting from level 6-7+ but to do so some quality cheese required.
Kamelands are lot easier though.
Once the DLC is released with the endless dungeon, xp grinding should be a thing if people desire it. In the meantime, yeah... starting the game with xp only for active companions is a good way to boost early gains.

Where the hell do you get a Unicorn Horn? I saw some posts mentioning the Nymph ambush area but there is nothing there, I thought I got it and sold it but its not in shop, is it inside after you unlock the door or did I miss out on it completely?

It kinda bums me out that Stoneskin communal requires material costs, I didn't notice it at first and was happy filling my spell with it but nope, I can no longer use it. Probably should start saving it for tougher fights.

Also what does Armor Check Penalty means? Arcane spells check I understand but I am pretty sure it doesn't matter for my Druid since he casts Divine I think but I don't understand what ACP means.

Diamond dust isn't that expensive, just buy it from the cleric vendors, same with dinosaur bones for legendary proportions spell or diamonds for resurrection spells.
Armor check penalty is the penalty wearing armor gives you when doing certain actions in which armor will hinder you (stealth for instance, when trying to sneak wearing armor will give you that penalty).
You can find an unicorn horn in the verdant chambers dungeon later. (inside, not the outside ambush area)

You can get the horn during the main quest line in Chapter... 5 I think? It is in the Nymph ambush area, but the dungeon under it only becomes accessible then. Bring high trickery and perception characters for that one, from what I remember, that place is trapped with some nasty traps.

I thought artisan quests were not timed, I just found A Bloody Craft quest failed and the artisan wasn't in the village, not sure if he left or what.

Chapter 4 was super fast and couldn't do much except main quest especially since 2 of my advisers left and the only chancellor was Tristan, Chapter 5 seems to be taking forever compared to it, kinda of a breather I guess.

Edit:
I think its been a year or something and still no main quest, did a lot of the side and companion quests but kinda hope main quest didn't get bugged out.

Really wish map and journal were a little better. Sometimes reading the journal still doesn't tell me what am I supposed to do and have to either talk to quest giver or check online. Map, it was great at the start but now since there are tons of locations, its pretty hard to find a specific location since the red icon doesn't show up unless you have been there I think which sucks. Almost wish if there was a name based searching or something to find locations faster.

I don't play melee fighters in either game, precisely because it's the mechanics, not class descriptions, that make a class interesting. Funny thing, even though the kensai in BG2 is described as a sword saint, you can specialize in any melee weapon and play one who dual-wields clubs like a caveman. (but will still be just an auto-attack bot)

They really should implement something like a "show location names" checkbox on the map or soemthing.

Chapter 4 and 5 always happen back to back no matter how long it takes you to complete chapter 4, whcih is why you get a lot of free time after chapter 5.

Optimal city layout is irrelevant. Most of your kingdom stats come from solving events - buildings only make a marginal part of your total kingdom stats. Only build stuff with purpose aka, you want to push for extra economy - build a couple of economy building. Usually the main purpose of pushing certain stats is because you wanna level your advisor or because you want to meet artisan requirements for better tiers of items.(https://www.reddit.com/r/Pathfinder...ns/efx1rhp/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x)
Bulletin board are lawful only buildings - they give +2 to problen solving in the region, that's why it's spammed everywhere.

Beneath the Stolen Lands

Some of our shrewder fans have already figured out that we like to release things near the end of the month. Such was our plan for “Beneath The Stolen Lands”, our 3rd DLC, as well. However, after postponing it for a month from late April to late May, we’ve realized we now had 2 releases lined up one after the other in the space of a week. For this reason, we’ve decided that it would make more sense to release both the DLC and Enhanced Edition on the same day, June 6.
Just to remind you what it's going to be like:

“Beneath The Stolen Lands” Key Features
  • Enter a massive dungeon with a party made from scratch. Begin your adventure to the Tenebrous Depths with a party of newly created characters. Start the game from the main menu and experience the descent into an endless rogue-like dungeon
