They didn't even bother to do the usual thing where they try to pass of some meticulously scripted setpiece as real gameplay footage, they just went straight for pre-rendered cutscenes this year. Not even just Microsoft, but CD Projekt as well.

Now that E3 has begun in earnest, here are the four main places to check for developer interviews + gameplay demos happening during the event:

Twitch's E3 broadcast: https://www.twitch.tv/twitch
Gameslice: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFzCRmlUIFln8oJ1NuKbfkA/videos
GameSpot: https://www.youtube.com/user/gamespot/videos
IGN: https://www.youtube.com/user/IGNentertainment/videos

The hardest one of these to keep track of is Twitch, who sometimes publish their daily schedule on Twitter but not always. You have to watch the stream, where they display the schedule in between the developer sessions.

Things are depressing if they need to announce features that have been present in RPGs since the beginning. They could have delayed the game a year and included the NPCs and dialogue trees with more time for polishing, then they wouldn't have been involved in the shit snowball that was Fallout 76.

I profoundly refuse to believe that as much as a single person actually wanted this
