That's low. Even by Codex virgin basement dwellers standards.

There's nothing on that url, but even if there was, your report is too vague to be any of any help.

Here's the holy trinity of valid reports about problematic ads:

1. Take a screenshot of it.

2. See where the ad points to (target url), and copy the url. If you can't get the target url by right-clicking on the ad and Copying Link Location, click on the ad and copy the url that you land on.

3. Describe what the ad is doing that is problematic.

I'm not seeing the actual ad (AdBlock, sorry), I'm getting a pop up from ESET saying it blocked a connection to a suspicious address.

Can't do anything about it without the necessary info unfortunately, even with that looking for a single ad to weed out is often a case of finding a needle in a heystack. You can turn off adblock and see which it's complaining about, it's not going to hurt you. In any event, the url seemed to be a file-hosting service at some point but looks dead now, so it's pretty irrelevant. I assume you can mark in ESET not to bother you about it any more.

Wtf is this horseshit. This banner is way too fucking big and is literally everywhere on the Codex.

Edit: I shelled out 5 bucks just to access the full forum, now I have to deal with these massive ads? At least make them interesting with bitches or something versus a dude staring at me like he wants my cock.

I'm getting that giant ad too on PC and mobile. Give me back my Chinese bootleg Sword Art Online MMO ads, at least those have cute anime girls on them.

It's targeted advertising, it must know you want it.
Can't you do something for the mobile version?
While the ad is still huge and obnoxious for the PC version, its still tolerable.
But the mobile version simply screws up the whole layout and scrolling thing (and I access codex most of the time from mobile at work)
Also in before taptalk shilling.

Hm, that shouldn't be happening, I'll look into it.
