Yeah you see it's like a post-post-apocalyptic™ setting skipping straight to corporatic™. After this we'll get the conglomeratic™ prequel to it all. They should get MCA involved and really put their balls on the line

Imagine if they actually did an urban RPG like vtmb or alpha protocol (but more RPG) which involved you dealing with corporations and the criminal underworld instead of this now overdone retrofuturistic space frontier where you just have bunch of towns at best.

Why would you want that if another much more capable studio is already doing exactly this?

Finally caught up with the trailer. I'm at a loss as to how any studio could unironically make something so stupid and asinine.

Corporations rule everything. Corporations can't be challenged. Life feels bad, man. Wait! A generic [anti-]hero has come among us and will stick it to the Man! Long live generic [anti-]hero and the revolution!

Sweet mother of fuck, Obsidian. Really?

Everything here has been adressed. A: Thanks to propaganda most people are actually pretty happy. B: Leonard aknowledged the opposite and there are charachters that represent it and they are not automatically being right. C: You can work with the corporations.

Its a rpg made by Tim and Leonard FFS. Being forced into a certain role is the one thing we don't have to worry about.

Speaking of which if someone wants a wholly negative impression

(Though graphics whoring and less in depth than your typical journo has been about the stage demo)

"is shaping up to be a massive disappointment"

Did you watch that faggot? His main complain is face animation and muh graphics. He doesn't put any other reason why it will be disappointing. It is clear he doesn't know his shit about rpgs. When he said all the fallout games except 76 had a focus on dialogue, including fallout 4,he lost all credibility . That faggot knows about rpgs as much as i about snake breeding.

He probably won't even be able to play Outer Worlds because bad lipsynch breaks muh immersion
Spends all his time playing Fallout 4-76

Is this some kind of guessing game?

Looks way better than any other gameplay that they shown before. Gunplay looks better, dialogue seems decent , the new disguise looks neat and companions seems more active. Also there's so many skill checks. I'm optimistic for this.

Night time looked good and the town looked cozy & didn't look as empty as what we saw in the trailer.

If I play this game, I'm going to kill every annoying NPC I come across just to make up for Fallout 4. I still have nightmares about Preston Garvey.
