ZeniMax Media, video game publisher and owner of studios including Bethesda, Arkane, id Software and others, has filed trademark for a new game title. Called Deathloop, very little is known about what this new project could be.

The Deathloop trademark is available to read on the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office website, and was created on December 26. According to the description, Deathloop is a video game for mobile devices, and features online gameplay. This means we shouldn't expect to see anything named Deathloop coming to PS4 or Xbox One. This seems like it's a game made for phones and tablets.
Wonder if this is right? It didn't display PS4/XBone, PC or anything at the end of the Trailer.

This must be a mistake.

I think this is intentional. Probably the same reason they didn't display platforms in the trailer of Starfield, they consider this as a next-gen (or cross-gen) game.

Why the fuck be so cagey at all, it's baffling. I know some marketing and PR people got together and decided that was the best course of action, for reasons they think are important, but it's fucking stupid. If you want people to be excited about a product and spread the word about it, you should tell them what the fuck it is on some basic level.

He denies then says they didn't announce the platforms then makes an apology for mobile games, it was confusing. Maybe they will release the mobile version and the console version will only be released for the next generation? Very confusing.

I think he's making a case for cloud gaming, Stadia and Bethesda's own cloud tech (not platform), Orion.

That's definitely what he's focusing on, yeah. I get the feeling it won't come to Xbox One or PS4, which is why he's being cagey, but it will come to the next consoles and the streaming platforms (and PC, one assumes).

The trend of giving less and less information about games has been going on for decades already.

Remember demos? You actually got to TRY the game first before spending a load of cash on it?

Remember actual trailers ACTUALLY SHOWING THE FUCKING GAME? These days they don't show a single frame of gameplay, it's all video.

These days, millennials are so retarded they buy the damn game before it's even finished, let alone playing a demo.

The logical next step is not even to announce platforms and be as mysterious as possoble. All Bethesda has to do is show a slide of a 6 and modern pathetic "gamers" need to change their underwear.
