Speaking of old times, was anyone here a member of now closed Realms of Evil forums, a website dedicated to roleplaying evil characters in VG and PnP RPGs?
I was active there and a moderator for Planescape from '99 to '01

Please never leave us, DarkUnderlord.
People die of old age, you know.
For more than a hundred centuries the Emperor has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Earth. He is the Master of Mankind by the will of the gods and master of a million worlds by the might of his inexhaustible armies. He is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with power from the Dark Age of Technology. He is the Carrion Lord of the Imperium, for whom a thousand souls die every day, for whom blood is drunk and flesh eaten. Human blood and human flesh – the stuff of which the Imperium is made.

My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
There's something pretty deranged and sick about anyone who moderates RPG forums. I tried it once back in the day and next thing I know I've lost a couple of years of my life. Proud to have been clean since 2007.

DU doesn't really moderate, it's more like he has his own ant farm and whenever he gets bored he throws in some shit

Some of the others on the other hand, you probably right there

Since this seems to be the current Codex Lore thread:

When, where and how did the rivalry with the Watch start? Is there even an interesting story to this? Codex seems to be the older place.

RPGWatch forums are Sunday church compared to Codex.
It won't be easy determining the overlap!

Sometimes I put in ants from another colony and watch them fight.

Sinners go to church on Sunday, then spend the rest of the week sinning so they have something to talk about with God for next Sunday.

We know that some members are dual agents. I would venture to guess that much more of the Watch lurks here than vice versa. The Codex has always placed agents everywhere... I remember Ed123 from the TSLRP forums ffs!

They'll never expect the SpanishCodex Inquisition!

Logically it has to be. Lots of unintended consequences though. Namely, that evil is necessary because God made it.

It's sad when people give in to evil.
