Eh no, i did some digging and seems like this is an issue with EE. People are saying that EE is not based on the latest patch which has fixed these issues, but an older January release. So basically, I just have to wait and hope that the devs are even aware of their idiocy. Chances are if you guys want to play this game today, you will encounter this issue.

PF: Kingmaker trumps PoE: Deadfire in many ways unfortunatly also including the buggynes.

Well, we'll see if Owlcat will make another AP-Game in the Pathfinder-Universe. I hope so, but the coming two years will show if Paizo will survive the behemoth D&D 5e has become. They're in a shit spot right now business wise.

Maybe they should invest in better programmers or someone who specializes in optimization. I don't think the performance of either DF or PF:K is acceptable and they've only gotten worse with patches.

Huh, performance has improved a lot for me since release, loading times are relatively short, nothing that bothers me much tho.

Sic semper tyrannis.
So after being told in the BG3 thread to give this game a second chance... I tried it again, this time with the time based mod and... its damn good. Will see if I don't burn out on trash mobs again though.

Turn based mod is fantastic
I thought it would be some alpha tech demo or something but I nearly completed the game with it and encountered like two bugs total

Its easier, and not because of the AI, but because you can max your ini and nuke anything before it even moves.

So is it ready to be played yet? Seems there are differences in opinions. I have a good gaming rig. I'd like to get back into it, but I'd rather not have a shit experience because of the bugs. Is the EE good or worse?

Playing this following ATOM RPG I can't help but be struck by how cartoony and childish this game is. Also have to love that all the warrior companions are women (and most the companions in general), including a barbarian chick that's like 100 lbs and the game even makes reference to her using a sword twice her size that she can barely swing...

Also wish these games would stop with the eating and resting shit. I'm not trying to play a march and camping simulator.

I have a good rig too mate but still the game is unpayable due to memory leak and stuttering. Not just me either, a heap of people are complaining on reddit. Doesn't seem like it affects everybody (if reddit people can be trusted), but if you wanna play it, be forewarned that it might be impossible to continue once you get to act 2. It's really insidious too because the memory leak is not there at first but keeps getting worse as you play.

Okay, sounds reasonable then. Going to wait. thanks for the non-fanboy information.
