Good, recent racing games like Outrun/Outrunners?

I don't know what you call these kind of racing games specifically (Scenic? Cross country?), but I want something where you are not bound to a track/stadium and has nice scenery and good jams.

There's a 3DS called 80s Overdrive that's well, more literally like outrun but not specifically what you want I think.
