From the studio that made Hard West and Phantom Doctrine (even though the studio is not quite the same studio it used to be).

Spells and magical items in a game that could have been at least equally interesting in a non-fantasy setting? No thanks, I'll pass.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Some day people will admit hexes are a bad choice for indoor combat.

Until then I expect many negative ratings on this post.
How so? The arena is circular, so I don't see how it is a problem in this case.
Hexes are always a good choice. The problem is 90° walls.

And the new Creative Forge announced another game.

:hmmm:

More than 10 developers moved to Artificer (based on LinkedIn) and LinkedIn only list two person employed at Creative Forge, yet somehow they're making two games at the same time? Makes you think.

Oh there was another game...

Game by CFG GamesTactics

This trailer is uploaded on the channel of PlayWay, the Polish publisher known for all sorts of shovelware and not-so-shovelware simulator games and that is a major shareholder of CreativeForge.

That makes me wonder if PlayWay is using CreativeForge as their publishing labels for non-simulator, tactical/strategy-ish games.

I guess this is appropriate thread to post this than The Pit thread.

New games in the works by post-exodus CreativeForege Games.

Also publishing:

Now four games.

There's also talk about Hard West 2 and Phantom Doctrine 2, apparently being developed by external studios.

There's also a game called House Flipper City (sounds like it's based on PlayWay's hit game House Flipper).

I guess I can see what Kacper and the developers' felt about things pushed by the board of the company.

Have you seen what else Playway SA got?

The have what feels like 500 games that all run on the Car Mechanic Engine, half of them TBA. It's absolutely ridiculous, just a massive recycling shop. You can name any "XY simulator" and chances are they will make it. Then they put some East European developers on their tools for 6 months and release it on Steam Early Access for 30$. Seems to be a profitable business, the people on Steam buy anything first and then complain that it does not receive updates.

 Another "game". This looks straight out of PlayWay's catalog.

Fight!.gif

Bandit Simulator is a unique game connecting players with the medieval world you didn't know before.
Create a bandit team and explore a totally different fight system like nowhere else :)

You are able to use skills like :
- Ball kick!
- Quick and slow steal!
- Power of Beer!
- and of course a lot of others ...

Steal!.gif

Build your crime empire and spread your influence across the world.
Create ambushes and escape from your enemies if needed ;)
It is almost like being a pirate but better.
Anyway, the world is in your filthy hands - it's your decision what to do next with it.
And if you have diarrhoea - then the mission can be a lot more difficult, not only for you but for your companion too.

The game would give you a different approach to NPC and NPC can have a different approach to you.
Probably the only game that gives you the possibility of making the dragon drunk ... that's the one way of having his gold.

:hmmm:

Another one straight out of PlayWay catalog:

Not only they all look like shovelware, also look like vaporware.

Look at release dates:
  • Aircraft Carrier Survival - Q2 2020
  • Chernobyl 1986 - September 25, 2020
  • Trapper Simulator - May 27, 2021
  • The Grand Heist - Comming Soon
  • The PIT: Broken Bones - TBA
  • Bandit Simulator - TBA
The top comment from the above trailer (which is uploaded on PlayWay's channel) says it:

Can you publish games instead of making 100+ trailers everyday

So, this slick looking "game", is not by CreativeForge, but another Polish publisher SimFabric S.A., who released Saboteur! remaster (which is a nice release I should say).

Apparently this SimFabric is also a related company of PlayWay and also has several coming soon pages without specific release dates on Steam. It looks like PlayWay S.A., Movie Games S.A., SimFabric S.A., Ultimate Games S.A., and CreativeForge Games S.A. are all related companies. And it's not like each is specialized in some area or something, they all do all sorts of games: indie, casual, adventure, parody sim, somewhat serious sim...

"equally interesting" as in choosing between "smack him", "smack him harder" and "throw a pointy thing at him"? Yeah, right.

Is the original Creative Forge dead?

edit: Apparently so, most of them seem to have joined a new company

It's even using the same publisher as Creative Forge. Interesting.
