Finally dug Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition out of the bargain bin over at Gamesplanet (DE)
https://de.gamesplanet.com/game/fallout-new-vegas-ultimate-edition-steam-key--1060-2

£2.38 with PayPal conversion.
A fair price for the third best Fallout game albeit a slightly retarded Gamebryo one.
Full version - not any censored German bullshit. You don't get the soundtrack DLC though =(
Appears to be a historical low.
Played some of it before of course and I know it's on GOG but I'd have to muck around with WINE plus it might get offered via GOG Connect again.
A bit cheaper than on the UK site for some reason?

Wonder if Pierre will change his mind?

This game has been delayed like 4 times so far this year alone. It's going to be an absolute shit show.
I can't wait to buy it.

Wat is this? Looks like an empty open world clunky fps #10123 from the trailer, or is it some hidden vapourware gem I just never heard about??

The Last Spell, They Are Hundreds but turn-based, by the developers of Dead In Vinland and Dead In Bermuda:

What if Final Fantasy Tactics & Dynasty Warriors had an illegitimate daughter?

The Last Spell is a turn-based tactical RPG immersed in roguelite mechanics in which you lead a team of hardened heroes to defend the last bastion of humanity against hordes of monsters.

A Dark Fantasy Tactical RPG with Rogue lite elements
This is the end. War and a bunch of crazy mages provoked The Cataclysm. A mysterious mist filled with hellish monsters enveloped most of the world. They said that those who entered the mist were killed, driven mad, or even turned into monstrous abonimations themselves. Only a few Havens keep up the fight against the Hordes of bloodthirsty monsters that come out at night from this strange purple mist.

Days were quiet and peaceful: they could take time to organize themselves, heal their wounds and search the surroundings for anything useful. But the nights… The mist thickened and from their bowels unleashes hordes of mutated monsters, craving for blood and magic.

In this glorious mix of pixel art and dark fantasy setting, you lead a group of hardened warriors whose only purpose in life is to desperately defend the last of the mages while they try to cast The Last Spell, and banish all magic from this world. And maybe save us all. Maybe.

Features

Turn-Based Tactics:
  • Manage your squad of hardened heroes
  • Scarce resources: use Mana wisely to survive
  • Class-less skill trees and bonus perks
Hordes of Evil:
  • Tons of enemies to slay, burn, shock and slice!
  • Dozens of enemy types with different behaviors
  • Impressive skills to help you slaughter ’em all
Protect the City:
  • Rebuild a safe Haven from the remains of civilization
  • Build walls, traps and watchtowers
  • Protect the circle of magic at all costs!
Roguelite Elements:
  • You will fail… but everytime you do, you’ll grow stronger
  • Procedurally generated Enemy waves, Maps, Characters and Weapons
  • Nasty bosses

Heads up, everyone; DuckTales: Remastered is leaving digital storefronts in a duck-blur, and will no longer be available for purchase beginning August 8th, 2019. If you’ve already purchased it in the past or if you buy it before the dates and times below, you’ll still be able to access and play the game.

Pogo jump your way into Scrooge’s Money Bin while you can! DuckTales: Remastered is getting a farewell price drop for 75% off on most platforms before it gets removed for purchase.

The game will be digitally available on the following platforms until:
  • Wii U – August 9, 4:59 PM PDT
  • PlayStation 3 – August 9, 8AM PDT
  • Xbox 360, Xbox One (via Backwards Compatibility) – August 8, 5 PM PDT
  • Steam (PC) – 4:59 PM PDT
Disc-based versions of the game will install and play normally, and if you’ve already bought the game digitally, you’ll still be able to re-download it even after it’s removed, too. The times above are approximate, so please don’t wait until the last minute if you want to purchase the game digitally while it’s still available. So, get out there and solve a mystery, or re-write history!

Word of warning, multiple reports indicate the game (DuckTales) is broken and a lazy attempt at remastering the NES classic. 66 metacritic score.

Never heard that it's "broken" at all, just that its remastered art and music don't have the charm of the old one and is otherwise identical.

I mean, it takes a couple of clicks to check Steam reviews.

The game has a "very positive" overall rating and a "mostly positive" recent section. There will always be some percentage of people who have technical issues with any PC game, it doesn't really mean jack shit unless the game is known for a particular issue by a wide variety of people and systems.

The Ducktales' remaster has only one issue IMO: The final level is completely original and different from the NES one, but it's absurdly hard compared with the rest of the game, which makes it really frustrating.

Yep. I had to lower the difficulty for that one to be able to finish the game.

Song of Horror, "dynamic" horror adventure with the antagonist controlled by "advanced AI":

ss_47455ac433fc9f0c5143bec587fff2965ed56102.600x338.jpg
ss_4e7745978fb309ceaa819353fda115b4cdaf204c.600x338.jpg

Beware the shadows and the darkness which seem silent. Beware the closed doors, the whispering mirrors. Beware the Song of Horror that nests in the cracks of your mind.

The famed writer Sebastian P. Husher has gone missing, along with his entire family. Worried, his editor sent an assistant to his house in order to look for him – but he never came back... These disappearances spark a set of events that will soon reveal something dreadful: a nameless, dark entity known only as The Presence seems to be responsible – and it’s still somewhere, out there, lurking in the shadows, waiting for you... You may die, but the horror continues – others will pick the investigation up from where you left it until you all find out the origin of The Presence and put an end to this nightmare.

A PARANORMAL ADVENTURE OF UNPREDICTABLE TERROR

Song of Horror offers a truly dynamic terror experience: its antagonist, the supernatural entity known only as The Presence, is controlled by an advanced AI (Artificial Intelligence) that adapts to your actions and decisions. Experience unbearable fear as this otherworldly being responds to your way of playing and hunts you down in unexpected ways, offering a unique experience to every player and gameplay where tension builds up naturally instead of coming from scripted sequences.

As a player, you will live this story through the eyes of a varied set of characters related to the story in their own way. Every character is different, and brings their unique point of view to the investigation, allowing them to approach clues and items differently. Their actions and decisions will shape the world: some of them will know more or less of certain aspects of the story; some will be more effective against supernatural manifestations, but all of them can die if the Presence gets to them – and death is permanent. If they die, you will have to pick the story up with another one, and continue the investigation so their deaths are not in vain.

SPOOKY CHARACTERISTICS
  • Investigate a paranormal mystery in a thrilling story of psychological horror
  • Beware The Presence, an otherworldly entity with its own AI that reacts to your actions and decisions in a non-scripted, unpredictable horror experience
  • Choose between a group of unique characters: each one brings its own point of view and has a different relation to the story and other characters
  • You may die, but the horror continues: death is permanent – when a character dies, it’s gone...
  • ...but the next one will follow the investigation from where the deceased left it. The world will be shaped by their previous actions.
  • Explore haunted, sinister locations to gather clues and items that will help you solve challenging puzzles while enduring the agonizing tension of the game's atmosphere

Black Powder Red Earth, turn-based tactics, apparently based on military graphic novel series:

The near present. Following the invasion of Iraq, Private Military Contractors(PMC) become the preferred instrument of foreign policy by Petro-Monarchies in the failed states of the Middle East. Staffed with US special operations combat veterans, PMC select, train and lead armies of local nationals in conventional and unconventional warfare operations. Combat actions conducted by the contractors are not considered acts of war. They are matters of foreign internal defense.

Black Powder Red Earth® is a minute-to-minute turn-based tactics game set in a proxy war between the dictatorship of a failing petro-state and a brutal jihadist insurgency. Fighting in war-torn urban sprawls, players lead an enhanced capability advisory and enabler unit, conducting kinetic actions with full lethal surrogacy to accomplish their missions.

Developed with the support and advice of Special Operations combat veterans from the Commanders In-Extremis Force and by the designer of the Decentralized Battle Space Program, Black Powder Red Earth® has no tech trees, base building or R&D mini-games. It focuses entirely on meaningful tactical decisions that influence the outcome of raids in urban environments.

Step in the event horizon of chaos and discontent, now.

Oh wow. This has been under development in different forms since forever. At first this was supposed to be some kind of an FPS IIRC, and there was some kind of a Facebook game as well that I remember trying years ago. Don't remember at what point did the graphic novels come in to the picture. One of the founders of the developer is Jon Chang, the vocalist of Discordance Axis and Gridlink.

Emberlight is a true roguelike dungeon crawler, set in a world where the Gods have given you a great gift - and a great curse.

Explore procedurally generated dungeons as a Knight of the Ember Order. Conquer the quests set out before your party, and uncover the lore of the land. Grow your strength by absorbing the abilities of your slain enemies and collecting the powerful traits of dungeon bosses.

Become strong, become quick, become immortal - but be warned - as you fight using unstable Ember powers, they will begin to corrupt and twist your very soul. Every gift of power has its sacrifice; every ability has its cost.

As the Gods fight for control of their creations, you must decide what is good, and what is evil. To protect your people against the dangers of Ember power, you must use its power to your advantage. Will you conquer the dark, or will you lose yourself to corruption?

ABSORB
As a Knight of the Ember Order, you have the ability to absorb the abilities used by your enemies. Every ability used by enemies has a chance to be learned. This allows customization of each character towards whichever goals you have. But each absorbed ability has a cost...

CORRUPT
Every absorbed ability will corrupt your soul. You will slowly lose yourself to evil as the quest progresses. This expresses itself in unstable corruption traits which leads to metamorphosis into an evil being (such as a lich). And you will lose yourself to the corruption...

REPEAT
Each run will last between 30-60 minutes. After completing the quest, the most corrupted will kill off his former allies in an epic battle. This corrupted being will then begin attracting evil around them, and will act as a boss in a future quest once their influence has expanded enough. They will have all the powers you have provided them during the run, providing a never ending challenge in future runs. For every corrupted boss, a stronger party is required to defeat them. And the cycle repeats......forever?
