I do hope that most levels don't have all that retarded verticality,it looks gimmicky and confusing. The rest of the game looks pretty solid. Also i do hope that we get to make our own character.

Make sure to drop by tomorrow to vote on the next class that will be added to Solasta: Crown of the Magister once the project is funded!
vote Bard, they kick ass in 5e.
Depends on the archetype (Bard Colleges), but overall it is the most versatile class with strong support capabilities. College of Swords is in my opinion an awesome thing between the Eldritch Knight and the Sorcerer. Nevertheless it is preferable before the Druids, Sorcerers, Warlocks or Monks, but not before Paladin. Paladins are now the true monsters in combat, especially the Avenger (the dark horse) archetype (Sacred Oath of Vengeance).

The hell with these, we need a Barbarian!

New Class Vote: Paladin vs Ranger!

Hello there folks!

You were many to ask for it, and we promised we'd give you a glimpse into the additional content we're intending to bring with the Kickstarter Campaign's completion! Starting now until Sunday 22nd, your votes will decide which class will be added first in Solasta: Crown of the Magister!

As a reminder, this additional class will be unlocked when we reach our Kickstarter Funding Goal of $200,000 / 180,000€.

Where to vote?
You have one vote per platform! We will count the votes at the end to see the total, so don't hesitate to vote in all three places if you want to see your class win the race!

Sadly the Barbarian is the weakest melee fighting class, but for multiclassing it is quite good.

Since one can vote between the Paladin and Ranger and therefore i recommend the Paladin, especially since the combat situations are advertised as being in close quarter dungeons. But the combat with the spiders on the other hand has shown that the Rangers can be quite usable.

Me:
Hail the Dark Horse!

Grab the Codex by the pussy Pathfinder: Wrath
With verticality I really think it's more important to have rangers first, I'm surprised it wasn't one of the base classes.

Yeah. Not only for the bow, but also for flying companion animals that could target enemies positioned at higher elevation

I would vote Paladin simply to provide an alternative healer option to the Cleric. But Bard all the way if that was a choice.
