That's probably his main reason, although it's probably smart to grow a little over there just in case he gets demonetised on YT for any number of things. Threre's plenty in his content that some oversensitive cunt could get offended at, and I think YT still uses a 3 strikes and you're banhammered policy

They paid money to him, he didn't want to play Sengoku Rance on stream because of the porn so it's probably not that different from other streaming services in terms of their content policy.

I'm mostly wondering how he hasn't gotten the banhammer yet, considering the amount of policy-infringing shit he has in his videos

I think most of the in-video stuff is low key enough that it's just missed by anyone who would give a fuck, but I'm amazed that the frequent linking to downloads of games has gone unnoticed

I think the links are for games that are small enough/not advertised on YT that it's not an issue. And even then some dev doesn't seem to care: for example the star sector clearly know about the video and most likely about the link, but has done nothing, mostly perhaps because of the publicity boost it gave them.

I have heard somewhere that in case of Star sector, so many people went to buy the game after Sseth review that it brought down that developers site. Don't know if it's true, but it would explain why the devs don't seem to mind. For a lot of the indie games he has in his videos his reviews are probably a boon and bring a lot of sales when they come out.

Klei contacted seth to make a oxygen not included review and then canceled it because Canada is a leftist shithole that doesn't tolerate any fun.
The review script was actually finished and you can see bits of it in his last stream.

I don't understand. What happened?

The devs have nothing against seth type of humor but the Vancouver(and overall Candian) video game clique would have torn them apart if they dared to continue with the contract since it hurts their leftist feelings.
And since they are indie, they rely on those cliques.
