Let's discuss the pros and cons, please contribute. This is what I can easily recall:

The sins:
- Went out of his way to coerce Prime_Cunta into writing a positive review of POE, even though Cunta felt mildly enthusiastic about the game in the first place. As leaked PMs later showed, Infinitron insisted on the review to be deeply positive, and Prime-Cunta went along for the lulz, "just to make the codex mad", because Cunta is a rpgwatch person who hates the codex. This review was later posted as THE REVIEW on the steam curators page.

- Loves to suck up to developers. Suffers from the Codex being hostile towards them. Is known to regularly "split threads", because other censorship is forbidden. He first splits a negative discussion into its own thread, then buries it into retardo-land. Was recently caught doing it for the Outer Worlds, had to back down and at least bring back the thread from RetardoLand. Still, the negative discussion of OW Lesbian Agenda now happens separately from the main thread.

- When called out, doesn't respond directly to criticism, doesn't deign defending himself. Probably thinks he's above everyone.

Virtues:
- Leaked some Inexile's press release before the embargo date. Leaker mentality!

- Posts news. I don't read them, so w/e.

- Courteous man, has given "shit" and "retarded" rating considerably less than received. Often rates "nazi" and "WTF?!" instead. Most likely hates the nazis and finds himself confused a lot of the time.

- Probably has no life outside the Codex.

We're not competing, retard. This is a neutral discussion of Infinitron, while yours is deeply negative because of your sucking up and licking his anus. You're provoking people to hate him.

Man, Bester's still butthurt about my Pillars review? That's gotta beat some kind of record, even for the Codex.

Come on man, be a comrade and let it go already.

Fabulously optimistic

Dude posts more mass shooting news than RPG news. He just focuses on 2-3 titles where he can get keys in return for his shilling... Hey look a Solasta dev somewhere farted! Quickly lets make a thread about nothing

Just to clear up any misunderstandings, I did not write said retrospective.

Brain waves behind indecisiveness discovered

Some people find it difficult to make decisions. In a new study, neuroeconomists now reveal that the intensity of the communication between different regions of the brain dictates whether we are indecisive or not.

Main problem with your vices is that how a responsible moderator acts and that's the sort of perspective a moderator is supposed to represent and enforce. There isn't a single position or individual in a community that combines the anarchical principles of shitposters with the managerial concerns of a moderator, so Infinitron doing that stuff is Infinitron doing what he is supposed to do as a moderator.

If you need someone to "moderate" your messages, maybe you should go to resetera or the watch. Grownups don't need it.

Haven't really kept up with the details of the latest drama, but surely expectations of what a moderator is 'supposed to do' vary from forum to forum, and this was always known as a place with lighter moderation than most. While there are occasional arguments in favour of more/stricter moderation, whenever these discussions are had it seems most are in favour of retaining the approach the Codex was known for and against moves to more regularly shut down discussions seen as negative or uncomfortable. Although it sometimes seems like Infinitron is a bit of a lightning rod for moans about moderation as a whole, even if it's not clear which mod did what... guess it goes with the territory he occupies these days.

"Shrug" People don't want to pay taxes, but nobody wants to spend their first Saturday off in forever to go work their shift at the volunteer firefighting department or be deputized/enlisted in the action against the Las Vegas sniper.

Discussion is an art form and sustainable discussion requires empathy, self awareness, and thoughtful speech. Everyone wants the freedom, but as with no taxes approaches to society, the people who agitate loudest for freedom are the least likely to put in the effort to nurture sustainable discussion.

Lol, find me a grown up. Grown ups don't go around pressing sad face stickers on things they don't like.

Different article bruh. I wrote one of the three four OG reviews shortly after the game came out. Grunker wrote the retrospective.
