- Stay Updated: The initial Street Fighter V purchase is still the only one that consumers need to make to ensure they always have the most up-to-date version of the title.
And Capcom is considering all versions of Street Fighter V as the same entry to inflate the sales of the game during financial reports. The game still sucks compared to SFIV.
It's worth mentioning that on realease they said they'd embraced games as a service and there won't be versions. Everyone who did the math realised that DLC got way more expensive faster, and made the game hard to get into, so back to versions we are.
to me, the peaks are street fighter 2 for 2d and tekken tag for 3d, with honourable mentions for king of fighters 98 and bloody roar 2 just for its insane speed. everything else is rethreading or bloating, or both. same issue i have with football games: "to make a lob press x, then y, then double square, triple trigger and pray to god"; having been both a footballer and a martial artist, playing a videogame can't be more complicated than reality, it's insane. The game still sucks compared to SFIV.
