I dunno. First they said LoE wasn't successful enough, then they said it actually was kinda successful and talked about a new game and then they kinda just vanished. @AterduxEntertainment (stupid tagging doesn't work for some reason but the account still exists) used to post and lurk quite a lot but now is MIA ("last seen Oct 18, 2018").

I just checked their social media, but there's no activity since last May when they were promoting LoE Steam sale. :negative:

Whatever happened to lords of xulima 2. Its very funny the developers forgot completely about lords of xulima after they struck indie gold with they are billions. Then again can't blame they probably made over half a million with they are billions and only a couple grand with lords of xulima.

Over half million? Dollars or units sold? Anyways I'm pretty sure they sold much more than half a million copies and made several million euros on Steam alone.

They sold well over 1 million copies of They are billions on Steam (and probably under 100.000 with Lords of Xulima), with their prices history and the example of other games known profits, those numbers means over 10 million US dollars (with Steam % discounted) with TaB and probably a tenth with Lords of Xulima. Over 10 millions euros in only few years is a lot of money for a little indie company in Spain.

For comparison, Larian made for sure well over 20 million euros with DoS:2, but Larian isn't a little indie company since the first original sin. Iron Tower, made probably over 2 million with their 2 releases (gross numbers) and their own official data.

Ps. about sources:

Developers only specify official numbers ocasionally and Steamdb/steam spy numbers are less accurate sources than ever since Steam privacy policy change, however as gross estimation they were always roughly reliable (an error range of 10-25%) and with new big ranges the exact number of copies can only be "an inaccurate conjecture". However They are billions has been in 1-2 million copies range since several months ago and their estimations usually match companies official sales numbers announcements.
