the last crpg we will probably see from inxile

Why? I thought Microsoft bought them to make AA rpgs.
no one purchases a studio to let them release mid tier niche pc games. They want exclusive games for the new console, I fully expect them to switch from this market to make new arpg's for the next xbox and maybe try to do wasteland 4 as a competitor to fallout

Retards still clinging to Windows 7 "because I worry about spying". Meanwhile they masturbate to furry porn 5 times a day on some fishy websites and their PCs have enough russian trojans and bitcoin miners to fill a 1TB hard drive.
W7 is just as much of a spyware botnet OS as W10

The game is going to be an unplayable buggy mess, probably worse than Kingmaker on launch, why would anyone preorder this?

Inxile took a full year and only made Bard's Tale 4 worse, and the Director's Cut of WL2 still crashes all the time for me.

Wasteland 3 is a Microsoft-funded AAA RPG, of course that's the price.

Even though they've got old talent, it's still weird to see a studio go from effectively indie to Microsoft-money AAA over such a short window.

Of the new RPGs to come out, I've enjoyed Wasteland 2 more than I did either Divinity or Pillars titles (particularly the LA content). Actually quite optimistic about Wasteland 3. I do have fond memories of DOS1 through Cyseal, but after that...

I don't mind the price in theory. I paid $50 for games like Monkey Island 30 years of inflation ago. However I agree that all these games tend to be buggy at launch, and they're shooting themselves in the foot when it comes to getting that fat early price payday.

Haven't followed this since announcement. Will it have more fun/diverse character customization and combat than its predecessor, or is it carbon-copying those systems?

They seem to have overhauled it quite a bit from what I can tell.
