I'm officially asking for Red Dead Redemption 2 to be put into the RPG Forums. :P
Also what is the definition of RPGs, you guys?

There is a case to be made that RPGs have come to influence other genres more than any other cross-polination (although you could argue that that's most recently due to publishers trying to make everything a live-service grind, with resources and boxes to tick off).

Personally I try not to think too religiously about genres outside the most obvious examples because it's pretty artificial at times, compared to the mindset it asks and the emotional impression that it carries.

Defining what is an RPG is a common pastime on the codex, it's almost like a religious experience here
