I thought RPGs are games where you are guy who runs around with a sword.

You expect people to check a fuckin 101 entries list before voting?

:hmmm:

I would expect a proper Codexer to have memorized it
A proper dexer don't memorize lists. He feels the smell of an RPG, like that of a hot woman.

:smug:

You don't seem to know a lot of codexers then
WTF is this response anyway? You should be calling me a faggot or retardo or something.

Kids these days. Bunch of retardos.

Excluding all RPGs and console games, the remaining list ends up being surprisingly short. I came up with less than 30 candidates. Ranking them wasn't easy either. How do you even compare all these different genres? I could swap them around forever, based on different arbitrary criteria. Some strategic voting might be involved. Everything in alphabetical order.

5p
Hollow Knight (I didn't expect it to score this high, but here it is...)
Overload
Pathologic 2
Portal 2 (not for its solo campaign but for all the extra content and free mods made possible by the puzzle editor and the mapping community)
SpaceChem

3p
Baba Is You
Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive
DOOM II
Duke Nukem 3D
La-Mulana

1p
Blood
Celeste
F.E.A.R.
Half-Life
Killer7 (now available on PC, so it counts)
Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Dark Forces II
Star Wars: Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast (who is responsible for these retarded naming conventions?)
StarCraft
Thief II: The Metal Age
Unreal
