If the posters wanted the right game to get counted, they could have provided enough information (like is it that hard to add the year after a title)
When I listed Pirates, Sim City, Populous, Lemmings, Zork, Civilization, Master of Orion, Archon, Red Baron, and Deus Ex, I meant the original game in every series; only later games necessitate a number, subtitle, or year to differentiate them. :obviously:

Wait, what the hell happened in 2012?

I'm noticing a lot of votes for Dishonored, a very mediocre game. I'm going to choose to assume the monocled fellow here simply got lazy toward the end of their submissions.

So Bioshock made the Codex's top 100...hand in your monocles.

1992 no top games?
It's been well established, from the Codex's two CRPG-of-all-time votes, that most Codexers can't be bothered to play RPGs released before 1998 (and a large contingent is fixated entirely on games from the late-90s and early-00s). The non-RPG-of-all-time has a greater chronological dispersion, but in similar fashion it seems that most Codexers are unfamiliar with games released before Doom at the end of 1993, i.e. the 8-bit and Amiga eras. :M
