The Guardian of Light was fucking awesome. First Lara-game I've ever enjoyed a lot. Don't know why they insist on going back to the old crap when they've created a game that good.

Yeah, Guardian of Light was good. Great for co-op, too. Except for the disconnects.

The DC's were so bad me and mate finally ditched it and completed the game single-player. Such a shame. The single-player was really good, but the multi-player was basically the single-player but better.

Yeah, pretty much the same thing happened for us. I wonder if this can somehow be played over hamachi to avoid the DCs. The multiplayer version was really lots of fun, the whole cooperation factor made it a degree more fun and sometimes, more challenging.

Lara's tits have been reasonable sized in all Crystal Dynamics' adaptations

So guardian of light was good? Was on sale a while ago somewhere so I was thinking about buying it, but some review said it was a very short game.

I'm quite enjoying TR: Anniversary though, partially cause I only really played the original TR in any great length, so Anniversary brought back some cool memories.

I didn't think it was that short. But I picked it up for like 5 bucks or something, so that might be why. Either way, gameplay is simple and efficient. It sticks to a couple of polished and fun mechanics and physics-puzzles. All in all a very fun experience.

The only negative thing I can really come up with is that it takes some time to get used to the controls on the PC. It is extremely obvious that jumping was designed with a controller in mind.

I'd let her suck me off. If I were a video game character too, that is.

Or if she were real. :M

Insert clever insult here
Which Lara game was it where she's attending this posh party that gets interrupted by the Yakuza or something? There was a great little detail in how she kicks off her high heels and then runs around bare footed the rest of the level. Before she ditches the heels, you can't run either, only walk. That's some eye for detail.

Underworld was the best Tomb Raider game I ever played, besides Anniversary. And I've played them all since the first one, except for Chronicles and Angel of Darkness because they were horrible. I really don't think the series needed a reboot like this. They could have changed the gameplay, sure, while keeping a lot of things true to the history of the franchise.

I wasn't aware this was actually a change. I thought the lore had always left it either intentionally vague, or implied it.

My main problem with recent Tomb Raiders was that they were too focused on tombs. Yes I know it's called like that.
But to me tombs really got old - it was like they were rehashing the same game all the time (literally with Anniversary too)

Hope this time something will change. Although tropical islands are just as banal shit boring as WW2 these days.

Your main problem with a gaming series notorious for bad controls and uninspired, unchanged gameplay is its choice of location?

At least in GoL, the tomb-setting works rather nicely. And I actually think it does for the other games too. It's like Prince of Persia and castles. Why fix it if ain't broken?

I kinda was complaining about the gameplay that comes with tombs too there.

So basically, your main problem with Tomb Raider is that you don't like Tomb Raider. Couldn't you just have said that in the first place?
