Oh come on. You have the chance to write a prequel to Jacob's Shadow (and whatever the sequel in IW was... Jacob's War?) that would have been half-way interesting, but you screw that up?

People actually started treating the game novels like serious business nowadays?

On the other hand, I would really dig some cyberpunk movie, if only for the camp value.

I spent a few moments trying to remember a good novel based on a video game.

Then I spent a few moments trying to remember a half-decent novel based on a video game.

I only need one moment to remember all the bad novels based on video games.

Nothing has changed in this regard for 15+ years. Why do they still bother?

Actually I read a Myst novel that was pretty interesting. So long ago I couldn't recall a single thing about it though.
