A petition about the styles.

Can you please leave the original white one as an option for those who want to use it? Both the current default one and the Temp Codex one give me a pretty bad headache after just a couple of minutes.

 

I want the old KKKodex layout. :/

No, my sig is from a wallpaper. I did just cut that part of it and made it a lot smaller for it to be as much of a pretty unobtrusive signature as I could make it while still being a SNSD is the best band ever one. I'll try to make it smaller later, but I don't want it to be too short in, uhm, horizontal lenght? That thingie.

 

The borders and quote boxes are so shiny, it's really distracting. I never thought I could get vertigo from looking at an Internet forum.

I don't think it's going to be possible to attain a look that has the sobriety of the old phpbb2 one, modern forum software developers are too desperate to turn their product into another Facebook with cute boxes and eye-killing sleekness everywhere.

 

Actually, it's hard for me sometimes to distinguish where one post ends and the next one begins without using the user column (the thing left of the written text) as orientation due to lack of clear separators. Whatever theme(s) you come up with it would be cool it would be cool if one could be optimized for readability. And black on white is really tedious to read.

 

+1. This one is quite very shit, actually. Contrast is too strong, it's raping my eyes. If it has gotta be one, it should be either the 100% genuine Original Codex Experience or the previous/default board colour scheme.

I'm fine with forum looking like this, but the colors are too bright. I prefer very dark colors.

The thing that really grates about your sig is the complete lack of hotness displayed. Out of nine Asian starlet-wannabes, you'd expect at least a few to be hot. That's like basic statistics or something.

 

I liked the default white theme, it reminds me of RPGWatch.

 

The new color makes the whole forum look like a broken piece of shit but at least it mitigates retinal scarring. I say leave it until you figure out how to change the rest.

I don't know what I can say to that, really. You know what they say about taste and stuffies, but that comes through as a pretty empty answer. So... maybe it is different for a guy, but I find them to be really charming, cute, and girly, and that's nice when most western idols are either total tomboys or total whores, and thus pretty terrible models of behaviour and sources of inspiration if you kind of dislike the prospect of becoming either.

Their songs and coreographies are really happy and fun, too, and they are pretty good party music as long as you don't have one of those Hipsters who try too hard in the group.

Having left the serious answer aside, though...
