I also think encumbrance should be removed entirely since it's such a craft-heavy game, and shops only buy a few items from you.
Jesus Christ just drop that garbage men.

For non-crafters that makes sense, but I really enjoy the crafting in this game (so few games do it right), but encumbrance...*puts on sunglasses*...really weighs down the experience.

Would like more and longer quests in Core City. Like it has been said, many of the questlines there end somewhat abruptly.

Yeah, Core City is great in a lot of ways, but it's also kind of a stumbling block for the flow of the game. I think a lot of people lose focus once they get there. Part of it is the walking and screen transitions, but part of it is also the quests. I'm not sure how to improve that, but I'll think about it. Maybe Tanner or someone could give more advice about what to concentrate on, and what to do vis-a-vis Gorsky. I know he already does give some advice about those things, but it might not be enough. The guidance could come from other SGS NPCs as well.

I'd also like to see more ways to make noise and lure enemies besides exploding things.

Also enemies should go alert if they see a corpse.

It's too easy to break quest lines, get locked into situations and locations (Institute of Tchort) that are game breaking etc. These need to be fixed. That should be Styg 's first priority.

No it's not. You brought yourself in a unbelievable dumb situation and now it is game over. Choices and Consequences man.

Would you sneak into the highly guarded CIA underground labs and expect it to end well? Just use your head. I went there as well. And when I was surrounded by faceless, I thought well shit lets reload. It is a cool way to get to a shortcut, not a bug.

I do not have specific things I want to see, but in general I want more exploration, not major but at least minor - secret cave here, secret isle there, somthing like that, maybe boat for that purpose.

PS Underrail has its own forum! Wow! I looked into old RPG General Discussion, didn't found it on first 3 pages and already thought I has gone mad. )))

i really like the noise idea.
reduce timer for super steel. i found out about it way too late and now making super steel means keeping the game running for hours on background, that's really not cool.
a way to invest into SGS, securing trade deals etc or hiring new merchant couple in bakers place, thus improving shop quality there. i guess my biggest gripe is the downtime between shopping for craft mats/steels.

more crafting recipes!

something to counter bilocation. it doesn't feel good when i'm forced to reload and cheese with gas/molotov grenade spam. these ghostly cunts attack 'your mind' but take up physical space and block doorways and shit. actually the way it is described there is no reason why it isn't just a DoT debuff

That would be the logical continuation. Followed by the Pig Princess, the Crawler Countess, the Siphoner Tzar Man, the Burrower Baron and the Mutant Dog Doge.
They are also all romanceable if given gifts of lake poppies (for the feral lady!) and meat (for the beast of a man!).

Fixed.

The Siphoner Strategos should want gifts of blood, I would think.

It seems pretty ambitious to suggest it, but I'd really like to see more boating and rafting activity. You never get to explore the lake next to Camp Hathor, for instance. I could also see some small caverns in places along the main waterways - caverns with no access except by boat.

In addition, you often hear about pirates attacking shipping in lower Underrail, but you never get attacked. Some pirate activity would make me happy.

So, I've avoided dealing with Abram in Junkyard until very late into the game (I didn't want to get involved with goddamn burrowers until I was certain how I felt about Protectorate) and now that I have, Abram+Oculus quests have been some of my favourites, especially the one about Lenox Pierce and his brother. I would love more Investigative work with a little bit more angles and variations. In the same vein, learning about the connection between Coretech/JKK and a certain gang and how a certain business went down between all them was very intriguing, such that I expected it to branch a little further with options to use that information but alas.

While at it, I'm sort of curious about why nothing further came up about a certain event in Foundry:

As far as Todor Sallywatch tells you, his arrest was a surprise to him because he was certain nobody had seen him taking the shot and he was caught when he long have left the spot. Later on, you can get him released based on the fact that there is no evidence on him, nobody had seen him. So it is very suspicious how he was apprehended. Any comments on this, Styg?

Story, far above other traits, is what makes a game recommended and talked about years after it's release. Everything else has to be good enough to a certain level, but story is what puts a game on the "greatest games of all time" lists. I would also argue that it's what makes games art rather than a "virtual sport or hobby" because it adds societal meaning to a person's life.

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
the beginning levels could use some more enemy variety and another side quest. Hard to convince people to get into Underrail when the first 2 hours are hitting rats. maybe throw in some kind of high level enemy/dungeon that you don't stand a chance of beating until far later in the game.
