Holy fuck, those graphics are uglier than I remember.

You know what the sad part is? That armor she's wearing is the best in the game. It's the --- of Eranikus, dropped by the level 52 endboss shadow dragon in the Forgotten Temple.

You should see how poor the male version looks. It looks like one of those spandex shirts homosexuals wear that show their midriffs.

Warrior's embrace dropped off the shade of Eraniknus (level 55 drake) in the sunken temple. Probably was still the best BP when you were still playing Rex.

But yeah, all the high level plate armour makes the female models walk around in thigh high hooker boots, plate chastity belts and metal nipple pasties.

I'm guessing the developers weren't getting any while they were making the game, so they had to design their own fantasy women.

Hmmm...

Crappy graphics...check
Outdated DAoC PvP & RvR gameplay...check
In-game email system that sucks out the immersivity...check

Oh wait...people cant have the patience to wait for a real game so they will either play this or EQ2...instead of holding out for a revolutionary MMO.

/sigh

You're wrong, guys. The armor gives "mental" (virtual) protection. It's the most powerful armor in the game. Requirements: female, any non-fat.

The irony of that picture is that it's probably the avatar of some fat (tennager) who's still in high school, and whose only claim to fame is a larger set of man titties than the avatar.

A few more screen captures like that and they should get a swarm of horny kids forcing their parents into buying/renting it for them.

Once the "pole dancing", "fellatio" and "back alley abortion" skill sets are introduced this will be the most popular MMORPG ever.

I'm not sure I agree with the "back alley abortion", but fellatio and pole dancing would be a great addition the genre. Heck thinking about it, when the game "The Movies" comes out, I wonder if you'll be able to make pornos :).

Speaking of bad graphics and "homosexuals" showing their bellies (from EQ2):

http://mediaviewer.ign.com/ignMedia...te=rpgvault_hub&channel=features&type=partner

Meet Mr. Moustachio and his sexy linen club-wear! Who would want to play a Dark Elf if they look like THAT??? Who approved that facial monster? Is there no art supervision at SOE? The mustache! THE MUSTACHE!!

Personally, I find the EQ2 graphics FAR WORSE than WoW. I rather non-photorealistic cartoon graphics to EQ2's failed realistic, bad texture graphics with bad mustaches.

Hey, he's got a caterpillar on his lip.

I liked Star Wars Galaxies' graphics a lot for the most part, they had a lot of nice 'surface effects' which is the best way I can describe them. The giant desert frogs had a neat 'heat' effect on their scales, and leather/rubbery clothing had a very realistic sheen. Of course, it had other problems with it's presentation, like how no matter how you customized your toon, you couldn't make them 'ugly', and everyone sort of came out looking similarly awkward.

From what I've seen, Middle Earth Online has great looking stuff as well. However, having said that, I've blacklisted that game.

No playable Orcs in a Tolkien MMO? wtf is that? Not to mention the other races they've left out, like the Beornings and the Easterners, among many others. I guess it doesn't matter anyway, it'd be all split down the middle with Legolas' and Aragorns anyway.
