Love how the shape of the masks makes it look like they have little horns

Prosper as weather man, 1eyedking presenting the cultural stories, Humanity Has Risen as the investigative reporter, Blobert as the sports narrator

The codexers were pretty happy with how Fallout 3 turned out though, praising Bethesda for improving. Guess Bethesda truly listened to the demands while getting Hines his freedom.

Fallout 3 was improved compared to Oblivion, that much is certain. That doesn't mean that it was a gaming masterpiece when judged independently.

If I heard Blobert shout "BRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" after every goal, it would make me start watching sports.

This is the same guy who was claiming a couple years back that Blacklight: Tango Down would be one of the best shooters ever (probably because he was working for the studio making it). Turns out it was pretty fucking crap and I regret the $1 I spent on it. I should care about what he says, why?

I mean, come on. It's GameTrailers, which is SpikeTV. They give goddamn Michael Pachter a soapbox. Their entire team is about as braindead as you can get. While their review coverage is occasionally good compared to other sites, they're about as corporate and engineered a site as you can get. If they're featuring "Angry Gamer", it's only because they're appealing to the typical "I hate everything" teen nihilist crowd, the same sorts of people who think they're fighting The Man by shopping at Hot Topic.

How exactly was it improved compared to Oblivion? Middle-aged guy? Children town? Tranquility lane? President is a computer? Moira? Druid cult worshipping the Tree God?

If Oblivion came out today it would've probably been more like a sequel to Gothic.

Is there really a point to beating this long-dead horse? Anyway, I found that Fallout 3 had some very decent quests, quite a few interesting and unique locations to explore, the XP system worked a lot better than the broken levelling system of Oblivion, level scaling was tweaked and wasn't as annoying.

Please bear in mind that all this is compared to Oblivion. I'm not questioning the stupidity of middle-aged guy and all that stuff. Compared to Oblivion, Fallout 3 was better.
