I am huge fan of LucasArts adventure games, especially Monkey Island series. Has there been any similar games lately besides Thimbleweed Park and Kelvin and the Infamous Machine?

I tried Irony Curtain but the story was meh and not funny.

Gibbous is expressly modeled on Monkey Island, right down to have a Voodoo Lady played by Ron Gilbert.

Randal's Monday was an excellent game is that style. Its creator also made Out of the Box, which was more of Papers Please style game with Sierra-style deaths and dead ends and also great.
