I was wondering, what is the install order for the following mods:

    Arcanum Unofficial Patch
    High Quality Townmaps
    High Resolution Patch
    Balanced XP Cap Remover

    Thanks!!!

There's no information about when to install the level cap remover though.

the correct way to do it is by uninstall.exe

Have a question - with the widescreen mod installed, the interface keeps disappearing, being replaced with a small but useless bar at the bottom of the screen. How do I toggle the interface to be on all the time? Pressing K seems to toggle it on and off, but whenever any menu opens up and I exit, the interface disappears again.

The latest official patch must be installed before the unofficial patch (Drog's patch). As for the others, I don't think it matters.

For the GOG version I did unofficial patch and then widescreen patch. Never had a problem. Doubt the order for the others really matters either.

A lot of those xp cap patches just game with a replacement .exe for the official patched version not sure how much Drog's UAP modifies the .exe so you might have to chose between no level cap or complete compatibility. I know one of those xp cap removers came as an exe patcher and that worked for me when I played through with the UAP a couple years ago.

Besides that caveat your install order looks fine.

Mine just contains a file that says "arcanum50patch.exe" and there's xplevel.mes that overwrites into the data folder, so I suppose it's a patcher and not an EXE overwrite. I actually found it in a thread here in the Codex.
