are cookies on this site broken or something?

yesterday it logged me out and it wouldn't let me log back in.. so I deleted my cookies and could log in, but I have to keep logging in every few hours even though I have 'stay logged in' checked

what is wrong?

I had a similar issue a few days ago. Went to log in (after being mysteriously logged out for no apparent reason), and it seemed to work, but it just brought up the home page as a guest again. On the proper log-in page (not the pop-up), it said something about having to accept cookies (???). Again, it worked fine after deleting the existing ones, and has stayed logged in since. First time I've had to log in since I joined. This is on Firefox 62.0.2. Weird.

Since two weeks ago, I can no longer log on RPGCodex using Chrome. It is unknown to me, the why.

if you put in your info and then it refreshes like you'e logged in but aren't then delete yo cookies

We're in the process of converting the server to CoC-compliant Linux so there's bound to be a few hiccups.
