Standin' pretty. In this dust that was a city.
At least give me a damn good reason why it should stay in the game.
Most of all it gives an excuse to make you start butt naked.

Talk about missing the point.
I wasn't angry about the loss of gear.
I wasn't even mad about 5 v 1.
I just hate it when they present fake choices and give a very negative impression at the combat right at the start of the game .
Well that's how you wrote it... It's not the fight that's wrong. It's the dialogue. And on that I agree. It should show those guys don't give a fuck about your fancy words and just want your gear. The options ought to include giving it to them willingly or coercing them to leave you with something. Or agitating them to beat your ass to a bloody pulp and leaving you with 1 hp. It doesn't matter in the long run anyway, but makes the result more believable and actually reactive to your choices.

Huh this addicted mechanic is pretty simple.
Turns out if you're addicted to alcohol - you can drink any alcohol to suppress the withdrawal - it works like the Hunger system.
So I thought chemical addiction would be more serious since I got it from taking super stimulant, but it turns out you can eat Kasparamid pill and it'll suppress the addiction withdrawal.

 Guess it's not as bad as Alcohol since Alcohol is darn heavy.
Anyone ever tried lockpicking a caravan truck?
I got mine to 70 with kit and it's still can't be unlocked.

Indeed, they should do away with those non-resolving checks and the forced knock-downs. If you wanna make the fight unwinnable, do so, but not by breaking the very rules that should govern the world you've created.
These things are there for narrative reasons. Grow up.

Incline narrative should adapt to choices it gives, or just not give them. It's not a Talltale game.

Just because you have the option to use a skill doesn't mean you are going to succeed in the attempt. The guys you meet at the beginning are level 12+, which means you can't beat them, no matter what.

I'd have no problem with that. Thing is, you succeed and it changes nothing, they slap and rob you anyway. It's a 50-60 speech test and you can easily start with 80+ speech should you wish.

I didn't go to the bunker until I had done most of the side content, so I never really got to experience the bandit dilemma.

Was somewhat amusing having a bunch of shoddily armed thugs threatening my very well equipped party of three. Felt like they had a death wish or something.

Hahah, I had a talk with some friends and they say it's funny how some equipped gear doesn't count towards or against skill use.
If you want to intimidate someone, bring a heavy machine gun.
If you want to negotiate, it's best to come unarmed. Etc
Would be nice if video game start taking note of things like that.

Yeah, I can't think of many games that do that. It would be nice if more did.

KCD had some persuasion bonuses tied to your armour, that was pretty neat.

That's retarded, you are right. They should have removed this.

Because it's too complicated to be implemented properly. It's already an abuse to let the player use consumables to bypass skill checks. Now you want equipment to do your character system job? Better remove the character system them since you care so little about it.

Cursed Sniper isn't bad actually. For some strange reason, the difference between Aimed and Regular shot accuracy is huge if you compare it to just the Torso shots. I was getting 50-60% on wolf with basic rifle skill (34 with Ability) but if I do aimed torso shot, I get 99% chance to hit with a hunting rifle.

For melee, it really doesn't make much of a difference. I'm still getting 99% on the rats in the bunker.

Also would like to report a random bug:
I did a critical hit on Ant-man with an aimed shot on the Eyes.
His body rag-dolled and fell through the floor.

No body to loot.

:rage:

Yo, boyos: how important is Sequence? Is it like other games where you get an extra turn if it is super high? Does the game have a mandatory melee phase or can I go straight for guns?

Also RK47 , why 11 dex? Is the +1 stat thingie something you can get really early?

No reason really, I was just thinking of compensating for the -7 Sequence penalty with higher DEX. On hindsight, I should've put it on ATT instead since DEX boost is more readily available from sweet cake & toadstool. The strange thing about Cursed Sniper is that it boosts your critical chance to 5% if you have Luck score of 1

So it's a decent pick if you are dumping Luck.

ATOM RPG II: Return to Otradnoye
:)
(in the footsteps of Fallout 3's franchise revamp!)

seeing this loading screen many times I was sure I had to board the plane late game...
maybe in a future DLC?

not Stalin.
also after the Fallout 76 rum bottle fiasco, they should sell that Sputnik style bottle to Fallout fans :)

Either killing slavers, or the weapon seller in KRZ, iirc.

Also, power armor is decline. Don't add it.

Why is decline?
**SPOILER**
the cultists that guard the elevator before the final confrontation wrecked me even if I had best armor in the game and I was buffed to the fullest
if I hadn't buffed my personality to be able to convince them to let me pass, I don't know how would've been able to kill them
And I was playing on freakin normal difficulty

EDIT: Atomboy

tell the team to add that power armor and using it to require expensive power source only available in shops

also the power armor should require constant upkeep because of the damage it takes, needing many resources to maintain (scrap metal, wires, other high tier crafted components etc. or special components that spawn randomly at caravan traders) and high technology and tinkering skill levels :)

Tinkering is total useless, only beneficial shortly at the beginning of the game and technology is underused throughout the game

This game is non-intentionally hilarious. Apparently, everyone who managed to survive was a true believer in the socialist credo. You don’t see anyone mentioning the hunger, the progroms, mass executions, disappearances and poverty. The irony is that the post-apocalyptic world presented in the game represents a substantial improvement of their past. They have freedom and markets where they can buy goods and services.
