Baldur's Gate 3 ends at level 10. It's more like the final battle will be 3 ilithids and you'll get some gimmick to help you through the battle

I googled "Baldur's Gate worst weapons" and didn't find Lilura's blog at all.....

Seems that poor old Lilura only had that precise combination in mind that she/he/it/they envisioned for the system to work given the page name. Pretty lame to boast of this, when anyone can create a page and then search for the exact formulation of words in the address to get the first hit.

 

Making a blog is an art form. Part of the medium is predicting what users will want and will be interested in and using search engine optimization to ensure that when they do search for it, your blog responds to their search request.

 

But it's not a prediction. Lilura literally comes here to quote that precise formulation. Any other and the blog doesn't come up at all or very far down the list. Worse is that it is used to back up the 'popularity' of the block when there's no actual evidence of that.

You'll be forgotten like the rest of them. People may be blind in the moment but when they look back they realize where the passion and art existed. It's why Baldur's Gate 3 will be forgotten in 20 years but Baldur's Gate 2 is beloved and known to this day. You will not live in the memories of the codex but when my blog comes out I will be eternal in the mind of real rpg players everywhere

There's always blind people that can't see the bigger picture and don't see real art in front of them. These are the equivalent to the people in this thread that think bg3 will be amazing, perspectiveless hacks that don't know shit.

I never did, and I never will. I would absolutely never write a blog about 20 year-old RPGs, because as I pointed out quite a few times in the past, I always look forward to the future. I, as a person, am a man that always likes to learn something new. To experience a new game. A new world. A new combat system. Anything new and original.
I would never wallow in the past. I would let it guide my wisdom in appreciating the now or the future, but never trap me.

I also refuse to let past games trap my child-like approach to games. I compare, but never fully render judgement until I have experienced the whole product. And I play on all difficulty settings, to make sure I have experienced every RPG in all of its forms - always with the same enthusiasm I had back when I was 14.

You can label everything you just read as autistic, of course, but when I "pour an RPG into a glass", I savour every drop like you would fine wine.
