The entire "experience" of playing the game is completely broken (unless you are some sort of sadomasochist who takes pleasure from the excruciating boredom/screwed up interface/awful design).

Haven't read the whole thread yet... but... could this mean... that someone somewhere one-day please god... make a god damn RPG using D&D5 edition rules. You know, the real ones, no adaptation, no in-house fagotry, no inspired-by, just the god-damn rules as they were written...I would shower Beamdog's untalented asses with money if they were the ones who'd get such a project started.

Could you possibly pick a more banal rule system for a CRPG?

I have to wonder if Beamdog's license is limited to DLC for the Infinity Engine games.

I just listened to the podcast where MCA talked about this game and he had high praise for the main villain. He said the character's motivations were done so well he felt bad about fighting vs her once he found out. And overall he praised the writing in the game.

Twelve pages and nobody in this topic seem to have said anything worthwhile. Codex can be a disappointment sometimes.
