Not to give you an inflated ego but this is probably my favorite post on the Codex to date.

Has kotaku always been like this? I read a few of their crap articles that supposedly are about videogames, but oh shit, I sooner become another nazi troll in the codex than continue reading that crap.

They moved all the video game stuff into "Kotaku Core", the standard Kotaku is now solely about feminism, politics and geek culture.

Is just that whenever I see someone write cisgender or something like that (is so bad calling them normal?) I have this urge of forcing them to eat their own fingers. And i'm not a rightwing bigot, but this kind of LIBERALS! really make me sick.

Trans people probably don't want it hammered in by language itself that they're weird and not normal? Something about the term does annoy me, though. Not sure what a better alternative would be.

Use an adblocker and suck their sweet, sweet bandwidth without giving them the delicious ad revenue that they so desperately crave.

At some point several years ago I saw a several good articles in succession that made me start reading there. I think the final straw for most was their site "upgrade" from a readable and normal layout to their current iTard shit, which caused anyone with an ounce of sense to leave and the cum-guzzlers to arrive in droves.

It's probably because the term was only recently heard of, so it sounds like yet another retardo PC neologism (despite being appropriate). As an alternative, maybe "heteronormative" :? ? Not sure it works since it runs into the same problem, implying only heterosexuals are "normal".

Jeff Vogel being a raving Apple fanboy again.

Ironically there were lots of compatibility problems on Spiderweb Mac games that don't exist on PC.

Also, saying that Android sales are a tiny portion of iPad sales when the market has barely started to be developed, and the game is launched a year after its original release.

How hard can it be? Google Play, Amazon, and send the apk to Humble Bundle.

Wait, I thought you were against piracy, HHR. One of the common arguments against Google's ecosystem is that their shit is too easily pirated and thus not a market worth developing for.

Also, uh, something about fragmentation. Apparently it's too hard to develop for an OS that runs on multiple resolutions and hardware configurations, so let's not waste Jeff's precious time doing so.

This post has been bugging me for the last week, I don't know why. From the Dayzmod forum:

    http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=6160&pid=60011#pid60011

Those few sentences give me a feeling of revulsion for some reason.

I can't say I feel revolted. That's not exactly LARPland territory he's advocating. What's the revolting part?

The fact that he feels first person is realistic or that realism is of universal import seems pretty revolting to me.

It's not about the realism, it's about the "cinematic pleasure".
