    Using unsigned ints is why Diablo 3 had similar trouble some weeks ago. Proper input verification is what you need, you can't assume that variable types will be respected at runtime. :)

    Well, some users said the bug was reported during beta, but the ticket never reached the dev for some reason.
    I'm surprised people actually report bugs during MMO betas nowadays (Most people just want to play early for free) but having a known bug that was reported, and did not get fix for the release is probably a bad sign of things to come. (I get this same shit at work. I report bugs, but no fix forthcoming because they didn't have enough time. were lazy.

    Guild Wars 2 too, did not escape this problem, because they had no test servers. You just gotta trust their QA to do their job of checking the new patch. Once patch is cleared and applied, that's when a HUGE amount of userbase start doing funny things. And that's when things start to break.
