I still have a soft spot for The Jungle Book, even if it has its derpy moments (like especially the end). It might have been due to the localized version, though. All the music etc. was completely redone, and I still like it better than the original (which is rare). I think the film is nearly forgotten in the US, unlike in Europe.

I always liked Tarzan best, as far as Disney's cartoons are concerned.

Yeah, I don't watch TV often but I noticed they advertise some browsergames during the commercial breaks sometimes.

If we're going to talk about Disney cartoons, I'll just say our voice actors can beat up your voice actors at singing.

In potatoland that has been going for quite some time now, 2 years? 3 years? Mostly with Dark Orbit and later World of Tanks, mostly on Eurosport out of all channels but on other cable channels as well. Never saw them on the main polish broadcast TV channels though. Higher ad costs probably.

Sorry, Vaarna_Aarne, the Finnish rendition of Hellfire is far from the best. It's not bad, it just isn't the top-tier.

I'm sure anyone would prefer the version of the song they were raised with. Nostalgia is a powerful thing.

But the original english versions are clearly the best, covers being what they are :obviously:

Not always. Regarding "The Jungle Book", you can maybe argue about whether you like the singing in one version more than in the other, but I definitely find the text in, frex, the German version much better. It has been rewritten from the rather boring original.

    Codex! I need your help.

My animation teacher gave us an assignment where i'm supposed to make a presentation about a game that became an animation or an animation that was later adapted into a game, and talk about the context (when it was created, what was going on with the world during its creation and what inspired it, etc) and the differences between the animation and the game (how different medias affected the plot). All my faggot classmates picked shit like Naruto, and i want mine to be something better so that i can impress the hottie teacher.

What animation that adapted into a game (or vice versa) do you guys recommend?
