Really, gaming has the worst business men ever... how many more AssCreed games Ubisoft think they can do? They should take the steady cash flow from the big titles and use it to create new brands that will hold them when people get bored of AssCreed... not bet everything on the same basket.

No one learns anything from Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero or fucking Gold Box games?

You know.. I rarely let this shit get to me, mostly because I'm not directly affected by it. But every now and then, hearing worms like this guy, I really have to supress the impuls to punch my monitor.

The funniest thing is that the 'gamer' crowd is so docile and fucking stupid that assholes like this can do live presentations where they proudly admit that they are dedicated solely to finding new and intuitive ways to fuck their customers in the ass, and the masses simply do not care.

Actually, no. It's worse than that: I guaran-fucking-tee you that there are cunts out there right fucking now defending this. "UBISOFT IS A BUSINESS AND THEY NEED TO MAKE MONEY GOD GUYS", "IT'S JUST AN EXTRA $5, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DON'T BUY IT", "IT HURTS MORE IF YOU STRUGGLE, JUST LET HIM FINISH AND MAYBE NEXT TIME HE'LL USE LUBE, GOD".

Well, judging by Bioware fans — you're certainly spot on with their portrayal.

You remember when Jack Sparrow was introduced in The Pirates of the Caribbean?

Execs aren't interested in making money AND keeping their businesses/industry afloat. You just need to step off the sinking ship right at the end with big bags of money.

And, keep in mind that running a business/industry into the ground doesn't stop you from getting another management job elsewhere.

Well, they give more of what they love.

In a few years from now, when the big publishers only release turn-based RPGs, wargames, flight sims and adventure games, a small number of intrepid developers will go to kickstarter with the promise to bring back the story-driven shooters and pseudo-RPGs from the golden age of popamole.
