No, it was bad sequel, bad game and even projectiles were as bad as hitscans. Did you forget fireballs clipping through corridors?

Bonus religion war featuring the developer of Ion Maiden (which is built on a source port of Build engine):

And more bonus!:

They have been implied Powerslave remaster will be the next project.

Why do people keep pretending nBlood is a source port? Based on demo tests it's apparently less accurate than BloodGDX. The Ion Maiden devs should focus on making their main character not have the personality of a wet rag with the most uninspired lines instead of eDuke32 shilling (which still has terrible MP support).

BloodGDX is not open source nor will it ever be. It's a complete waste of time long-term. I've heard that the dude that made it even included shit to foil attempts at code analysis, so absolutely nobody could BUILD (har har har) on what he's done.

It's still not a source port and still less accurate than closed source recreations. They can start talking shit when their shit becomes better.

Indeed, just as there's no English translation of the Voynich manuscript. What's your point?
...and still less accurate than closed source recreations.
For now.

No need; there's plenty of shit that can be talked already regarding M210 and his shitty grandstanding ego.

I'm disappointed. Expected a remaster in the likes of the System Shock 1 remaster, not something which is quasi identical to the already existing game.

AFAIK It is not about ego, M210 just does not want to be prosecuted for violation of copyright. Rumors are that his project is very far from relying on the clean room design principles.

This doesn't ring true with his ready admission of utilizing the leaked Blood Alpha codebase in the first place. Either you are totally fine with using "stolen" copyrighted code wholesale in your port or you are not-- which is it?

What would be the point of buying a remaster if it doesn't do any thing unique to make itself stand out from 2 free ports?

The last screenshot show an addition of weapon wheel UI.

From Disco:

The weapon wheel has nothing to do with any kind of console release, sorry

weapon wheel was added because there really wasn't a clear indication on what weapon you have selected, besides using the numbered weapon keys. So if you use next/prev weapon bindings, then that will help

but of course I added an option to hide that if it triggers anyone

I still hope the original Blood will be on sale on Steam, I missed the (only time I think in) sale and that Fanatical bundle.
