I'm pretty sure you just need to replay it? I can't find anyway to "reset" it in the admin controls at least.

It says 2-0 as a result and it's not letting us replay the game.

No biggy, the second kill was a journey-elf. If I watch myself around the goblins then I'll be smelling like a rose by the fifth match.

    Did you click 'manage league'?
If so, is there a little dice icon next to their game?
If so, click on the dice icon and hit the reset button in the new window.
If not someone has validated the game. And it wasn't me.

Otherwise I will do it when i get home. Which is in about 11hrs.....

So scratchmonkey vs toastboy and Shuma vs Yardie to go?

I want to see the latter match - I am hoping that Comrade does a number on Shuma like he did on me. If so there will be a lot of squishing.

Tonight my Nurgle team got decimated in MM by another Nurgle team (with a better coach and more SPP). I was down to 7 players by the end. Luckily in my next match against Chaos (which I also lost), I managed to kill a Chaos Warrior via late-game fouling. I was happy because I need to replenish my ranks, and I'm tired of mercs needing rerolls at crucial times and loner denying me. Also, I like the thought of a favored warrior being relegated to line duties.

At the end of the match, I took the new rotter and it said he was free, but the fucking game charged me for him. I needed that money to buy a third Nurgle Warrior after Nuffle decided to rob me of my old one. Now I have a shitty rotter with a retarded name instead of a game-changing force. All my hate.

    This fucking game, man...

PS: RIP He Ate Me and 'Sick' Rick Williams III, your service was appreciated and has been missed.

Day 3, and this one sees filthy rats battling the even filthier undead. Noting Yardie's propensity for violence, the Nibblers decide to keep 13 rodentia for this match, so the Deadheads promptly snap up a wizard. The coach of the vermin is seen stomping around the sidelines, cursing his poor decision.

The Deaders lose the toss, and the ball is kicked off to the waiting rats, and high kick ensures a fairly easy pickup for a GR to start this one off. They set up their attack, sending their most favored Nibblers downfield. The left side appears to be the avenue they pursue as the defenders try to stop them.

For the 2nd game in a row, Turfsmother ends up living up to his name. On the first Undead block of the game, he goes down, Badly Hurt. The big mummy Cronar picks up a nice CAS to get this one going for the Deadheads. Shahenaaz, a GR, is blitzed to stop her potential scoring rampage, but she stays on her feet and awaits the pass.

The Nibblers set up a short pass for a score, but the clumsy fool Chocho drops it! The defenders are out of position, but have an early chance to get near the ball.

Two Wights are near it, but they are blocked off by three offensive rats that manage to keep them away from the ball. Chocho redeems himself, however, by swooping in to pick it up and charge down the field for a turn 2 score!

The score riles up the fans, and on the ensuing kickoff, the fans invade! Rats hooligans surgically surround the two most feared players on the field and manage to stun both Mummies! A horrible setback for the undead! Worse, a rat manages to knock down Rigor the Revived early in the turn to give his team a chance to flood the backfield before the undead can get back to defend. The Wight Ivan is alone backfield as the filthy vermin gather around him! Seeking to even the odds, the wizard lashes out at the star GR and knocks her clean of her feet, but she looks okay, her fur slightly singed for the experience.

Conrad the Wight picks himself up and lays a block on Velu to free up the ball carrier, but it cost his team a precious re-roll. Ivan tears downfield to the safety of his big men up front, but the cage is not quite complete. Many rats are now out of position, and a score is possible if the cage holds. The skelly Ewan Snaparm gets clever by sinking his boot into a downed opponent, but the ref is keeping an eye out for such nonsense and sends him off.

Rat lineman #843 slinks in and lays Ivan low to allow the rats to take charge of the ball. Shahenaaz scoots in to pick it up, and makes a beautiful pass downfield!

Razorclaw, league leader in casualties (for the moment :P), is unable to reel the ball in. However, it's now the undead who are out of position and looking to recover.

With no players nearby, it's too tough for the Deadites to get anyone close to the ball. The zombie Edmond is knocked down attempting to dodge in, and the rats have a golden opportunity to put up another point. The Skaven thrower Toptoss grabs it and passes to a waiting Stormvermin who takes it downtown for a score!

The ever-vicious fans want more blood! A riot breaks out, and the eagle-eyed ref is sacked and replaced with a much more... myopic fellow, and much cheering ensues. At least a turn was spent cleaning up the mess.

With little time to score, the clock winds down. At the closing whistle, Ivan the Wrathful manages a brutal hit on a sad little Skaven linerat. He will be out for a good while, to be sure!

2-0 rat finks at the half

The kick-off at the half finally sees the crowd satiated, and the undead get to their grisly business of maiming and smashing their pesky foes. Vivigard picks up a quick CAS, and now the coach of the Nibblers is looking relieved at his deep bench. Disaster strikes the undead, as their ballcarriers are unable to pick up the ball!

The rat Shahenaaz is lit up by straying to close to a Wight. As she tries to duck away after picking up the ball, Conrad lets her have it, and she won't be getting up from that one! However, another 2 failed pick-up rolls later, and the Deadheads are in dire straits. It's like Nuffle is reaching down to punish the undead for trying to play the ball, instead of the more noble task of crushing rat skulls into dust. The Skaven rush in to capitalize and Toptoss picks up the ball and a TD, threatening a repeat of the 1st game between these two teams.

This time, undead are all over the rats as Toptoss goes down early in the turn. Although they are deep backfield, the undead can form a cage if they want to to put up some much needed points. Instead, faces get punched and rats get stomped. The dread Mummy Cronar is knocked flat, so the undead are left with their Wights still backfield. With no rats free, they struggle to put blockers near the Wights to force a knockdown. The offense is still near their own endzone, but they are much safer this time, and Ivan is able to smash the only rat anywhere near the ball. Khufu gets in the game finally by mashing Skral into a pulp, and a KO is thrown in, to boot. Rats are becoming a scarcity on the field at this point!

The two GRs manage to scuttle their way up the field and put Ivan in a difficult spot. Chag picks himself up and takes down the big Wight with the ball, and now it's looking dicey again for the undead. They just can't get out of their own endzone! Five Skaven pour in to try to protect the ball. Although the Wights do their best to keep the rats away, there are just too many and Chocho scoops it up and races in for his second TD of the game! Nuffle truly shines upon the rats this game, since many life-threatening hits were prevented by this timely touchdown.

The waning turns of this game see a lucky failed block by Cronar right off the kick-off. Once again, Nuffle protects the ugly ratmen, though none can say why. The Wight Conrad has the ball, but with not enough time to score. It's even more pain for the rats, as many of them are tied up by undead. Blocks are laid down, and one final rat is put on the turf. Once again however, the Wights are paired deep in their own backfield and the Nibblers scramble to take advantage. In the last seconds of the game, Toptoss blitzes the ball free, and the lone GR downfield grabs it to pick up his first career TD, and the game is mercifully finished.

    5-0 Rat scum

True to his style, yardie was focused on beating me up and I was just lucky to escape with as many CAS as I did (5)! GG and keep your best players on their feet against those skellies!

    Skaven are unstoppable!

I really like that team - they are much like Humans but with Catchers (GRs) starting with MA9 AG4 instead of Catch (which they can get on the first level-up), while only being 10,000 more expensive. The rest of the teams are also very similar, with a little bit more armored Humans having access to 4 Blitzers and a little bit more mobile Skaven getting possibility of Mutations instead.
The latter seems more useful in the long run, at least from my newb's point of view.

also: good idea with the all replays gathered in one place.

Also if the players of the Dwarves v. Nurgle match could email/dropbox their replay that would be great. Stats updated for all replays received. The links don't change; they are listed above.

Match validated. I haven't moved on to next day because there are still a lot of games that need validation, and I don't know whether they're ready to be validated?

What? I validated his match and moved things on to the next day like half an hour ago.

    ...what did you do?

Edit: Apparently you set the score for scratchmonkey's next game to 0-0. Fortunately, I was able to undo it.

The Furious Furries vs Ragnarok and Roll

Turn 1: After getting smashed last game Scratchmonkey can only field a weakened Norse side - 1 werewolf, 1 berserker, 1 runner and the Yhetee. He also gets a massive 280k gold in inducements which he spends on a wandering apothecary, a re-roll and a bloodweiser babe. Winning the toss - Scratchmonkey chooses to defend, kicking the ball deep into the Furries half. Once again the Furrie's fans riot at kick-off with the ref letting the clock run until it calms down.

Turn 3: The Furries form a loose cage on the left side of the pitch but are unable to advance far as the Norse form a conservative defense. Paul Barker the werewolf badly hurts Roer Fur in a blitz (the crowd cheering on the furry-on-furry action). Completely blocked off by a wall of Norse the Furries ball carrier, Trofagors, repositions to the centre of the pitch - Plaguebearer and Screamer holding up the Norse on the left and threatening to push one off the pitch next turn. On the right flank Dane Mustaine KOs Juggernaut (Khorne won't be pleased) and Ragnarock & Roll get a marker on the ball carrier.

Turn 5: With the Norse now defending the centre, the Furries shift to the left again - Plaguebearer crowdsurfing a linesman and then Trofagors blitzing another unconscious. The Norse move as many men over as they can but it's 5 vs 3 in favour of the Furries, even with 2 Chaos Warriors being stunned. The numbers advantage of the Furries is then increased as Plaguebearer knocks Kirk Hamlet dead :smug: Sadly the bought apothercary saves his sorry hide and changes it to badly hurt.

Turn 6: In a desperate attempt to stop the Furries scoring Paul Barker dodges away from a Beastman to 1-dice block Trofagors - defender down but only knocked prone and the ball falls right in front of the Beastman, and the werewolf is stunned by the rampant Plaguebearer in the Furries 7th turn. Needing one Go-For-It, Trofagors picks himself off the floor, picks up the ball and:

    Show Spoiler
SCORES!!! 1-0 to the Furious Furries.

Both unconscious players wake up and not even a Pitch Invasion could make anything interesting happen in the last two turns - especially not a completed pass by Rob Halberd. Half-time.

Turn 9: 11 vs 11 and with everything to play for, the 2nd half starts. The Furries kick is deep and their fans cheer loudly for them - giving another re-roll. Ragnarok and Roll move 5 players back to defend the ball carrier, leaving their flanks wide open. The Furries need no invitation to enter the other half and advance deep with 6 players. the Norse cage up, moving to the right hand side of the pitch but the Furries aggresive defense means that all put one side of the cage is marked - Juggernaut and Screamer blocking the front. Some good dodging results in the Norse moving their cage to their left and suddenly, although still deep in their own half, they look a lot more threatening - most Furrie players either marked or not in a position to help. Advancing just over the halfway line far on the right the Norse are stalled, 3 vs 4 with most of their team man-marked by the Chaos team. A double both-down block from the Yhetee gives the Furries another man advantage and an easy 2-dice blitz on the ball carrier.

Turn 13: Mrasly Mantle does the deed and knocks down the Norse runner with a blitz - stun, then Juggernaut increases the pain by KO'ing another Norse who was part of the cage. Sustaining the assault, another linesman is pushed against the edge of the pitch and needs a -2 dice block to escape - he chooses to try to dodge away rather than risk the crowd, hugging the grass and whimpering, surrouded by six Chaos players. Plaguebearer teaches the Yhetee a lesson in pain (I think it only stunned on 2 out of maybe 10 blocks) - badly hurting the beast while Juggernaut picks up the ball. He could score on turn 15 with a Go-For-It but decides to play it safe: risking a blitz from the Norse Berserker.

    Show Spoiler
The Norse Berserker makes a last ditch attempt to prevent him but fails his dodge roll, not even getting the chance to size up against the Chaos Warrior. Final score: 2-0 to the Furious Furries.

Shuma and ManT face off for the first time:

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14179294/ShumaVsManT.db

After a failed start I let Shuma kickoff and what follows is a long drawn out drive up the pitch. I can't say that much happened apart from 3 injuries and a send off making the sides 9v9. Vladimr gets the ball to the end zone surrounded by thralls after about 6 turns and I decide that there is too much time to score so I stall on the line. There is no way into the cage for Shuma so he pushes my players around a bit but doesn't get in. On turn 8 I run the ball in.

I then forget who I am playing against and I do not cover the backfield correctly - I just organise my player's so that the least valuable are the only one's exposed to being wacked. Shuma has other ideas - he decides to go for a 1 turn touchdown. It involves 2 lines of his own players and a blitz which pushes my player INTO his players. He can then chain push my player to push his players so that the distance to the endzone for the scorer is reduced. He gets his gutter runner into a position that all he needs is a hand off and 2 GFI rolls to get the TD. A high kick event meant that he didn't need to retrieve the ball. He fails the hand off but rerolls and succeeds, he also makes his two GFI rolls and he scores. At half time the scores are tied 1-1 and my plans are in tatters as I was going for a 2-1 win (or 1-1 draw).

Anyhow I kick off the second half and to be totally honest Shuma has very little trouble getting the ball down the field. Yes I did get a vamp onto the ball carrier and blitzed him down but there are some many damn rats with MV that is 500000+ that they just swarmed the area and with a hand off to a gutter runner they are completely safe. Shuma stalls until turn 13 and then runs it in. Shuma 2-1

I then decide to myself that I can still draw this - I have an agi5 vamp which means he can throw the ball and I decide to set up for it. I make it so that I will at least have three options and if that doesn't work hopefully I can still run it up in three turns. I am positive, I CAN DO THIS GODAMMIT. I have beaten Shuma before! I can do it again! Or draw it....

Kick off! Blitz event! GOD FUCKING DAMMIT YOU FUCKING CUT DICE!

    :rage: :rage: :rage:

I manage to get the ball off of the gutter runner that recieved the kickoff but there was little to no chance that I could score. Shuma wins 2-1.

    Start: :violin:

I am not going to say that the kick off events won it for him but they sure didn't hurt. Shuma played a very good game and I am quite embaressed that the 1 turn TD worked and I didn't see it coming. Especially since I have done it myself.

    Stop :violin:

GG Shuma :salute:. I will not be so easy to beat in our next game.
