It's gonna be average at best.
Just like any and every mainstream RPG. Some games just have better chances of rising up to becoming mediocre than others.

There are still degrees of average.
Does anyone really expects anything good from this game? It's gonna be average at best. Made only for idiots
DA:I is far from average, far down below from average.while DA:I is average average.
There are still degrees of average. Like, Ass Creed: Origins was good average, but Ass Creed: Odyssey was bad average. And Witcher 3 is very good average, while DA:I is average average. See?
Like the original concept from post-Witcher 2 era?In b4 the game ends up being a linear shooter with small levels.

You suspicion is true, it's like they preemptively want to excuse themselves first about potentially horrid illogical dialogue lines, some routes and quests being barely fleshed out for other sex and all that. CDPR knows RPG Codex won't favor this game.I don't care about the lead being female, what bothers me is why they feel the need to announce it from the rooftops and make a big deal about it. That makes me suspect it was done for brownie points, which makes me suspect that the writing will be dogshit.

If you want to make the lead female by default then do it, just get on with it and stop announcing it like you expect a fucking medal.

What medal? What announcing? They simply said they started writing the story with a female protagonist and nothing more. If they wanted a medal, like you said, they would have launched their cinematic trailer with a female instead, not with a polish looking dude.
At this point of the thread, it's just complaining for the sick of it and maybe some nice and sweet brofist harvesting.

her personality is the equivalent of rusty cheese grater too. fuck i hate her so much. it's like emo 14 years old wrote herTo be fair Bioware did a damn good job making her ugly, which I believe was the intent.
If I was a writer for CDPR I'd be embarrassed to even bring it up because it would bring the focus away from the writing and onto fucking virtue-signalling progressive politics. If you want to make the lead female by default then do it, just get on with it and stop announcing it like you expect a fucking medal.
