Eh? I had two perms. My other Blitzer (not Keighly) and a Lineman.

TripJack, may I be so bold in asking how the new compy is coming along? Not trying to rush you or sound impatient mind you, simply curious as to if you think we might be able to play our match this week. Also I'll mention that my schedule's pretty light for the next while, so it should be (hopefully) easy to work out a playtime once you get up and running again.

In a disappointing affair, Garm totally steamrolled through bloodless, punchless vampires. Everything, from bloodlust , through dodges, to armor rolls were biased. In fact, the only two armor breakes I had were in the last turn, both on goblins.
also, two MNGs (one on my block thrall), and mvp still eludes those completely useless vamps. Decliners come back :rage:

As hoverdog said, his luck was really bad for most of the match. There were a few times where his luck didn't totally suck, but those came at times where I had a numbers advantage and position advantage so he couldn't really do anything. I got 3 level ups that game though. A thrower got block, a linemen got guard,....and the troll got claw :D

Looking forward to going skink hunting and killing those ST 5 suari of Jaeder's:greatjob:

I'm not sure yet bro. Depends how long it takes for UPS to get my orders to me, and whether or not it's all going to work smoothly when I put it together

TripJack is buying time, he's learning how to play the game 'outside the game'.
By delaying the match, he creates uneasiness and impatience in the opposing team.
When the game starts, he's the one relaxing in his chair, with cup of cocoa while the opponent is hyped and making those risky moves to get it over with quick.

Trust me, watch out for this dude.
He actually got online at Monday 5 AM my time.
    What a fag.

Yeah that's why the tutorial starts after I was 2-0 up.
It's a good thing you completed the tutorial by scoring on the second half.

That would be a simple cage to stop though. Trip when you're on offense you should be ending your turns and starting them with a lot of Orcs standing next to a player.

What happened on the subsequent turn? I would totally take that situation as Orcs...it looks like your right side of that scrum is in a world of hurt come his turn.

Black Orc -> Linemen, which get's knocked over most likely. Follow the block.
Blitzer -> Blitzer because he now gets a +1 from the Black Orc that followed up
    Linemen-> Catcher
Blitzer (who was adjacent to catcher before block on catcher) -> Blitzer

I got outmuscled. Slowly to the left - field, then he breakaway to the TD at his Turn 16.
It's a classic example of humans not being able to cope on a muscle-marking game.
Unless they're facing another ST3 team like Amazons, of course.

Your downfall there was marking rather than screening off the field.

"What a blunder, Bob! It seems like the Orcs have ended their turn without a single player standing next to a human! Now the humans can really screen and start slowing down the cage and pick it apart!"

"You're right Jim, the Orc will not be able to set up blocks, so everything happens on the human's terms now!"

    "..."

    ""

Vet coaches, if I prefer risky passing play over blocking game - which team should I pick?

    ^ Top
  21. Not an animal doctor, but still I would say that Passing == Elves, particularly Wood elves.

Wood Elves. One of the best teams period, and masters of the pass. If you're feeling frisky, High Elves is the evolving team that is never finished, and Dark Elves is the passing team with bash!

Goblin passing play sure is risky.

You might want to try high elves for passing play. Although wood elves are almost as good, but they tend to die.

What are you on about Jaedar? Wood Elves are way better than High Elves in a classic "tier" view of Blood Bowl, which is reflected in statistics. Less bloat and strictly relevant skills on their positionals. High Elves are more of the perfectionist customizer's team, in that their potential for evolution is so great and the fact that you can almost become as great as woold elves along with a nice AV8.
