    What the fuck. Why would he use a bow, with all the military equipment he has at his disposal? Does this mean that the game'll have more stealth mechanics? Who the fuck knows, I just hope they keep with the 'we're all fucked, why are we even fighting, humanity is doomed' vibe that the 2nd game had, man that was one depressing soundtrack for a game.

    Bows = no noise.

    Plus it gives you the feeling you're hunting dinosaurs, so maybe they're gonna return to the jungle, or at least semi-return.

    Why would you give a shit about noise when you have a suit that allows you to kill tanks by punching them?

    You couldn't in Crysis 2.

    We don't know yet why there's gonna be bows, but this better has a good reason.

    ... (nitpick) have you been on any archer contest? Bows aren't that noiseless as most of people thinks. And second thing, archer usually targets a chest (for obvious reasons), so chance are for not immediately kill... which equals an agony scream or something similar (even if your target are fluffy dinosaur) .

    But anyway, Crysis 2 was so bad, la terrible fubar, I'm *not* touching it again. With bows or not.

    Crysis 2 was the best FPS released in 2011, so I'm obviously looking forward to C3, with bows or not.

    You grumpy "hardcore players" can continue masturbating over Quake 2, Doom and what other retarded shit is out there.

    Being the best FPS of 2011 is like winning the special olympics...

    It would actually be impressive if they used part of their no doubt humongous budget to code proper physics for the arrow flight, but I am not holding my breath - how would you iron sight then?

    Best of '11 or not, but anyone who played C1 or Warhead, must feel pain, sadness and angry over fall of title. C2 proudly features retarded story (copycat of HL 2), aliens (copycat of Halo), checkpoints (copycat of console shooters), maps (copycat of CoD 5+)... just every thing was unoriginal, uninspired and worse then it was before. But worst thing was a wasted effort, because a few first maps shows some potential of engine (destroyed city create an ideal environment for C1 style of gameplay, especially considered, that human C2 AI was a significantly better than one form C1), but that was destroyed by game design, deformed by checkpoint system. Latter maps, alien invested, are just corridor joke.

    Ps. ... and HR DX wasn't the best of '11, by any chance...?

    DX:HR was totally forgetable. What was the plot again?

    At least we know those restrictions in C2 are due to consoles. I hoped C3 would come to Next Gen consoles to soothe this problem and get back on track with slower, more tactical open-world gameplay style. But nah, money speaks.

    My favorite bit about Crysis 2 was how the alien jellyfish had grown throats you could slit, quite considerate.

    So Crysis aliens had magic ice power, Crysis 2 aliens had magic bee swarms. Crysis 3 to have frozen bees?

    Is it wrong if I enjoyed reading the book more, then playing the game?

    If it was actually written by Morgan I don't see how it could be wrong.
