Just started playiing today with fully patched (1.47) version.

What's with all the ctd's. I'm in and around Kellen and I've had 5 or 6 already.

Any plan for an online or txt doc manual?

Behind you.
We have some articles on the game which might help you out if you check out our articles section. There's two on how the magic system works as well as one on the backgrounds which might be helpful for you.

What's yer system? Stability varies wildly unfortunately. I'm working on it. Disabling all background programs often helps.

Also check in yer task manager and if you cthelper.exe running kill it and you'll get a big boost in stability.

Eventually there may be a manual, but there's not really now, just the in game help (it's a text file though, so you can look at it off line if you like) and the articles written up here.

cheers,

Thanx

yeah, was running cthelper in proccessies. That is an area I never look at since it contains 30 or so programs the functions of which are a mystery to me. Also have DX 9 installed. Well, as long as I remember to save often, things should work out.
Combat reminds me a little of the Realms of Arkania series. Also, like Arkania, I am wondering if food items and lanterns etc. are useless or do they have a function not described when 'examined'.

Well, I hope killing cthelper helps. Set the auto save as low as possible and let me know if you get any improvements and if not what kind of system you're running.

cheers,
-mat
